To me, the only thing that Woodranch does well is the tritip.

Our entire group was diappointed with the the sides. We would have liked to see the beans and slaw fro the Bear Pitt (Mission Hills, CA). We actually thought the two restaurants should combine efforts. (Bear Pit doesn't serve Tritip).

One or two notches better than Sizzler.

I've been to the original location in Agoura Hills. Although they have bar-b-que in their name, they're just a family oriented steakhouse that serves ribs. Prices are reasonable, food is reasonable, but don't go looking for serious barbeque.

• Pros: Decent value.
• Cons: Not barbeque., Portions are modest.
