Sultry, inviting atmosphere, spacious patio, and hot dancefloor always bring me back!

Great martini lounge for socializing. Incredibly inviting atmosphere - perfect for singles looking for someone in his 40's or her 30's. Wide selection of drinks with friendly wait staff and mood lighting that makes everyone look good. Wonderful patio with cushy seating yet room to move about. Weekends are hot with a live DJ and vibrant dancefloor. The music is your typical top 40 and r&b mix. I haven't had dinner at the restaurant yet but the restaurant side of the place has a much quieter and romantic vibe. I really like Padri's and would recommend it to anyone who's looking for something more low-key and less bubblegum 20-something-year-old feel. Another plus, valet is around $5 which is a welcome change from Hollywood and the Westside.

Classy-casual Tuscan gem with a sexy vibe and eclectic menu.

In Short
Padri simply oozes romance and sophistication. Outside, trees are draped in twinkle lights. Inside, vaulted ceilings with rugged wood beams and cozy booths with slouch pillows accentuate the sultry mood. The vibe, however, is anything but. Noisy crowds of jovial friends and families far outnumber the odd courting couple. The menu utilizes exotic ingredients like quail, duck, and lobster, and more casual fare like a wood-fired pizzas, and simple pastas is classically prepared.

Great Italian

This restaurant is one of the best I've been to. Everything our party had was fabulous, and it didn't break the budget. I strongly recommend this place.

this restaurant has it all!!

the setting, ambience, service, and food were all fabulous. the food takes precedence, though...and rightly so. they serve some of the most delectable italian dishes i have had in or out of italy. the pasta is fresh, homemade, and not too heavy. the accompanying sauces are flavorful and well-suited to the dish. i was surprised that such an obscure nook of agoura could offer so much in quality, personality, and style. i can't wait to go back and bring friends.

Reservations - Who cares? Not Padri.

by cm321 at Citysearch

We left in disbelief before even being seated! I made reservations here for my wedding anniversary. This was no easy task! The girl who answered the phone acted annoyed and aloof. Upon arrival, we found that reservations don't even matter! We still had to wait 30 minutes among other complaining patrons who had also made reservations. Finally we were offered to sit at probably the worst table in the restaurant. One that should have been reserved for walk-ins, not reservations. I explained that it's my anniversary and asked politely to wait for a better table. The young hostess replied very snobbishly that I will need to wait at least 45 minutes for a different table, but first tried to convince me that the table was actually favored among diners. I don't know what the food tastes like, and never will. I got better service from Padri's valet parking.

  • Cons: Poor Service, Badly managed, Wait w/Reservations

Excellent

Padri's ambiance is cozy and inviting. Professional staff and friendly, warm environment. I had a salad with scallops wrapped in bacon. It was perfectly tossed with a warm mozarella dressing-not heavy. I highly recommend Padri's if you want Italian that won't weigh you down.

  • Pros: Lots of Parking, Patio Dining, Healthy & Decadent
