Horrible experience

I ordered some boots Jan. 2, received an email Jan. 5 saying they were unavailable and I would be credited for the boots, which was fine.
#1) they charged my debit card (my bad for not using my CC, i know) before they even checked to see if the boots were still in stock. Normally i'm charged once the item is shipped.
#2) Monday, Jan 12, still no credit was reflecting on my bank account so I called customer service who said they had credited my account earlier that day. When I checked my email that evening they coincidentally had sent me something saying they credited my account. nothing.
#3) I sent them an email this morning basically asking when i'll get the $$, they emailed back a generic email basically saying contact my bank.
#4) Just got off the phone with my bank. no credits are pending. It's been 12 days since i first placed the order.
#5) Filing a claim with my bank if the $$s not there tomorrow.
DO NOT USE BOOTBARN!!!!!!!!!
- Pros: They look like they have great stuff for a good price.
- Cons: It's all a lie

Not a good experience

I felt that the customer service was terrible across the board. First, one clerk told me in order to special order something I had to go through their Website - Boot Barn is the WORST online retailer I've worked with and I shop a lot. Returns were a mess, it took days for my order to be processed etc. I felt it all could have been avoided had she just ordered my boots via the store as I later learned they could.
I don't like going to a store and being treated like i'm inconvieniencing someone or trying to rip them off and that was how I felt here.
In the end they worked hard to rectify it but this whole company and its employees could use some customer service 101.
