My girlfriends met after work for martinis and ended up staying for dinner. We shared the appetizer platter and salads and had a great time. Our server, TAnner took good care of us!!!
- Pros: Great drinks, Great service, Great Food
Huge portions, great food

This place has never disappointed me. It's usually busy, so reservations are a good idea. Last night we shared an appetizeer platter that had crab cakes, banana boats, empenadas and something else. For dinner, the jerk chicken was great washed down with a Jamaican beer.
- Pros: Great food, good service, festive palce
- Cons: pretty busy
Election night party
by strucfin at Citysearch
Mayoral candidate Richard Alarcon had his election night party there and it was terrific. The decor was beautiful adn the staff was very attentive, even with all the commotion of the media covering the event. The catering department put out great tasting and unusual food...Much better than what I hear the other candidates had at their parties!
I'll be using them for my daughter's gradaution party in June.

We just had a surprise party for my husband and they made the event extemely enjoyable. Food was good, wine list was reasonable. I would definitely recommend Cha Cha Cha for special events
Great place for drinks and dinner

Tropical drinks follwed by a great meal makes Cha Cha Cha a place I always look forward to. Old standbys like Jerk Chicken are joined by weekend specials that are always extraordinary. Call for a reservation on the weekend, because they're always busy.
- Pros: Food!, Drinks!

This colorful little gem in Encino is as good as it was when it opened may years ago. The food is consistently good and the servers are friendly and efficient. I hd the paella and my wife had foo foo chicken and both were excellent
- Pros: Great decor, Martini madness, Fun menu
Worst dining experience ever
by blee72 at Citysearch
My wife and I went there for dinner and it turned out to be the worst dining experience ever. The food took almost an hour to come and once it did, my wife's dish was so salty, that it was inedible. We've never sent back food before, but this was unacceptable. After having asked for bread several times, we finally received it at the end of our dinner. I've had some bad experiences dining before, but this is by far the worst.

this place doesnt deserve to be open. i brought a party on 14 there and it took 2 hours till dinner was served. they were under staffed and i know our poor waiter did his best. he told our party the first round of drinks were on him,he felt bad for the poor service. when the bill came, the drinks were still on the bill, i asked the owner why they werent taken off and she replied that the waiter didnt have the power to do this. later i told the owner how i felt and how i would never return, she didnt care and our bills was $400. after i confronted the owner, and walked away, my friend heard her talk about me.dumb move- so if anyone has taken the time to read this, please spread the word, in a nutshell, this place sucks in every way!!!
- Cons: , bad, bad
one of my favorites

I don't know if the chef had the flu the day the other reviewer visited this place, but I was there on Sunday and it was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The prices were not cheap but not too expensive, the decor was funky and fun, and the food was really amazing. I had the potato-crusted salmon, and my friend had the apple&sausage stuffed pork, and we both agreed that these were some of the best prepared dishes we had ever had. The pork was definitely not rubbery! I also had a really good mojito. The service was great -- the waiters and maitre'd talked to us like people, not like servers, which was really fun. There was also a birthday party there, a huge one of over 20 people, and they all seemed to be having a great time. We will definitely go again!

Chacha cha no longer has fresh caribbean food and great service. I was disappointed starting from the appitizer to the entre. My shrimp was rubbery and my guest's pork tough and dry and my other guest said he couldn't tell if the chilean sea bass was good because it was drowned in sauce.
