Boxing, kickboxing and unique classes draw well-heeled regulars to this chichi fitness studio.
by Contributor
In Short
What started as a kickboxing studio now offers fitness, yoga, Pilates, boxing and Spinning. A range of classes run throughout the day including inventive options like Kombat Kardio, Jock Ballet and Afro-Brazilian Groove. The layout includes a grove of full-size punching bags, a boxing ring and the usual array of recumbent bikes, treadmills and hip adductors. An upscale locker room is equipped with individual showers and ample counter space. Personal training is available.
Rip off!

The managers at this gym are pretentious and unfriendly. The classes (i.e. yoga, pilates, boxing) have good instructors, although the room is too cold. The area for machine and free weights is too close together so it is cramped. Bodies in Motion is not worth the money!
- Pros: Good class instructor, Clean facilities
- Cons: Unfriendly staff, Overpriced, Cramped weight area

I was oringinally turned on to Bodies in Motion by my roomate. He's actually a personal trainer there. I like this gym becuase its convenient to my location and the trainers are very knowledgable. The trainer's took the time to give me the tour through their Jungle or work out equipment. The atmosphere overall is very energetic, so on that note, put on your sweats and get to work!
