Go somewhere else

Took my car in for a regular wash. The guy said he couldn't give me a regular wash because my car was 'dirty'. He walked around and around the car showing me it was dusty and at one point swiped his finger across the hood and the window and showed me a dirty finger.

I told him only the regular wash and he stood there and shook his head and said he could do it for $29.00. I got in the car to leave and he said he "would do it for $9.99 but wanted me to sign that it was not going to be clean"

He threw his hands up and just waved me away. He continued to complain to me that it "took more work for him and that it would not be cleaned again". I told him that if it wasn't clean "I wouldn't be back". I won't be back.

I told the "supervisor" how rude we were treated and he smiled and shugged his shoulders and said that if I wanted the best then it costs $29.00. Screw these guys. Might as well pull into a car dealership and get beat up.

Car Wash or Going to Hell....

Wanted ONLY to get my car washed. Instead the Supervisor (supposedly) continuously harrased my girlfriend and I, trying to tell us being gay was against God. We are going to hell. Even brought his Bible out to "Save" us while we were waiting for our car to get washed. We were both very uncomfortable. When we complained they told us he was the supervisor. Won't be going to that car wash ever again.

SUV Drivers Beware!

I had the worst experience at Great American Car Wash. I had been a loyal customer for a couple of years, driving from 10 miles to go to this car wash. I have a black SUV and took it to the car wash on a Saturday as I usually did and asked for the $21.99 service. My car went through the car wash and was put off to the side and forgotten. Approximately 45 minutes later, I asked the manager why my car was sitting off to the side in the hot sun, accumulating water spots. He ran it through the car wash again, and they put it off to the side again, to accumulate more water spots. I noticed that all the smaller cars were being taken care of in a timely manner. Now it's almost 2 hours that I have waited, and my car is still off to the side. At this point I'm so angry that I paid $21.99 for bad service, not to mention all of my time they wasted, that I took my car, spots and all to another car wash...I have never returned and have told my friends and family to stop using this car wash unless they have a lot of time to waste.

"Wow" wash and detail

I visit this car wash very frequently that they know me by name. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have tried other places, sometimes for convenience or for a lessor coupon price, but I always come back to Great American because they really do the best job. I can even request my own personal service attendant.
