The BEST dress shop in LA
by Melissa Chan at Citysearch
Lili's Bridal is the only dress shop you need to know about for wedding dresses and formal events. They have an amazing selection of gowns and a staff that is supportive and attentive to your every need. They definitely take the hassles and headaches out of dress shopping and will make sure to help you find THE dress you've been looking for and that looks great on you. They have not only helped me out with my wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses but also with formal affairs.
- Pros: Amazing staff, service, quality
LLLLLLLLLLOVE LOVE LILI's BRIDAL
by Leena at Citysearch
Read the reviews here and believe it. Lili's bridal is so great.
I love Ruby, she is one of the sweetest girls ever. She spent so much time with me. I got to try on every single dress that I was interested in. She was patient, kind and respectful of my budget. She brought me a dress I would have never picked on my own... when I tried it on, it was the ONE.
Lisa and Maria are wonderful too. I went to a few of the designer boutiques and I got 1/2 of the service I received at Lili's. My dress was rush ordered and I am scheduled to pick it up for my Aug wedding. Lisa was able to get the designer to deliver the dress in 2 months rather than the typical 3-4 months.
I can't say enough great things about Lili's.
- Pros: Wonderful, personable service
- Cons: Nothing
I had a great experience here!
by tabbybiddle at Citysearch
Lili Bridals was the perfect place for me to find my wedding dress. Everyone there is personable, friendly and super helpful. Up until I got to Lili Bridal's, I had been having a rough go of finding a dress. I didn't have a huge budget and for this reason my choices were looking limited. At Lili Bridals that all changed. The dresses there are very reasonably priced and they have a great selection. The sales clerks were very respectful of my budget and helped me find the dress that was perfect for me. Lisa and Tiffany in particular made my experience a great one. They were both extremely kind, patient and gave good, honest feedback. I had a beautiful wedding and LOVED my dress. I highly recommend heading to Lili Bridals!

This store was my 4th place to go try on wedding gowns. The sales associate, Ruby, showed me dresses in my budget and was very patient and wonderful to work with. She brought me a gown to try on and I said "no way", and it ended up being the dress I got. Never judge a dress on the hanger. I left empty-handed, but went back a week later to buy the gown. I loved working with Ruby, and the owner Lisa closed the sale. She is very professional and honest. I loved my bridal gown shopping experience there and plan on having my mom buy her dress there as well.
- Pros: Nice dresses, customer friendly
- Cons: Parking is a bit tough
Friendly and helpful :)

Lili's was the first place i went to. I figured i'd start out locally. the staff member that helped me was very good. good dress selection and reasonable prices. found 1 dress i loved and 2 that were good runner ups. although i did not end up getting my dress there, they were very friendly, NOT pushy and I even came back a second time to try on again and make a final decision. i suggest you go on a weekday (thats what i did and it was not busy)
Absolute lovely experience

I first started looking for a dress back on the east coast over Christmas and had fallen in love with one, but everyone kept telling me to keep looking. I then came back to LA and went to so many bridal stores. I went to high end boutiques and cramped ones downtown, but couldn't find one that I loved. I did a search for the first dress I found and Lili's had it. I called there to make an appointment and from the moment they answered the telephone they were so kind. They indeed had the dress and put it aside for me. I ended up being an hour early for my appointment, cause I was coming from another store with no selection. And from the moment I walked in, I felt taken care of. The girl who was supposed to take me was on her break, so Tiffany offered to helped me, I was completely fine with waiting since I was early and Tiffany went out of her way to help me. I told her what I wanted in a dress and not even knowing that I had the owner had put one aside for me, she took me over to the dresses and searched for a Watters gown and then showed it to me. I said that was the one I came in for, and we both started laughing. She pulled a few more and she even let me try on one that we both loved, but that was completely out of my price range, just for fun.
The entire staff was so sweet and honest, never pushy. I tried the one I had fallen in love with a month before on last and everyone just loved it (even though it was 1,000 dollars less than another one I liked- the seamstress told me "That's the one.")
Tiffany, Lisa and everyone there were not only extremely helpful, and honest, but were just lovely women to talk with as I was trying on dresses. If you want a shop that makes you feel like home and really listens to you, look no further. oh AND they let me know about an upcoming trunk show where my dress would be further reduced...how great is that?
Lili Helped Make My Dream Come True!
by sherilah at Citysearch
Lili Bridals helped my dream come true. I brought in my Grandmother's wedding gown that she wore in 1936 to Lili Bridals. My mother and I thought the dress would not work, yet I had always dreamed of wearing it. Lisa from Lili had the eye to see that with a few alterations, I'd be wearing my Grandmother's gown! This shop is truly amazing!
- Pros: Great customer service, professional, excellent alterations
- Cons: none
I wasn't very impressed.
by jbails1075 at Citysearch
I went in with my mother and sister on a Saturday. We had made an appointment about two weeks before and were asked to wait what turned out to be about 30 minutes. The selection was really limited and I had a hard time finding anything that I liked. The staff didn't exactly seem enthusiastic either. The combination of limited selection and off putting staff made for a very short shopping trip (if you don't count the 30 minutes we waited)
Not a great experience

I was not impressed with Lili Bridal. Maria was amazing and made my experience much more worthwhile, but if she wasn't there it would have been miserable. If you do go to Lili, be sure to request Maria. I tried out many shops and just happened to find the dress of my dreams here, so I stayed put. The alterations on my simple dress cost $450, plus they charged an additional $175 to press the dress -- but I was told in the beginning that the pressing was included in the alteration charges. I ended up disputing the charge and Lisa 'absorbed' the pressing charges to keep me happy, which I am very appreciative of. I was quoted $350 in the beginning and it ended up being $450 because of 'extra' work. Look at my dress -- only minor beading at the top! Nothing fancy! Anyways, that part of my transaction was really sketchy and it seemed that they must increase the alteration charge a lot, as they were very vague about things.
I guess it's an okay place if you are looking for an 'okay' experience. The sitting area is drab (old couches) the fitting rooms are super small and the staff is not very professional in my opinion. They only have one pedestal to stand on with a full length mirror (they have two, but one is used for the alteration station). When I was there, along with 6 other brides it was so crowded that you had to wait in line just to get your turn at the big full length mirror. It's annoying to wait your turn when some brides stand there for over five minutes. When you're trying on three or four dresses, those five minute wait times add up and make it a less fun experience. They only have a few rooms, so be prepared to wait!! And be rushed!!! The consultants were helping two girls at the same time, which is not a very personalized experience.
I was also told to order my dress in a size 14, when I tried on the size 12 and it fit fine. Seems a ploy of theirs to add additional alteration charges.
- Cons: small rooms, staff not professional, in the valley
Friendly Service and Great Selection!
by brindena at Citysearch
Because you spend quite a bit of time at your bridal salon, especially if you purchase and get your dress fitted there, it's important to enjoy your experience, afterall, it will be one of the bigger purchases you make during your wedding planning (and maybe in your life!). Lili was the first bridal salon I went to and by far and away the best I visited in my search for bridal gowns. I ended up getting the first dress I tried on. Upon my visit, I was greeted with exceptional and personalized service by one of the sales consultants, Lara. She gave me individualized attention and was patient and helpful with all my questions. After returning to the store a month later to purchase my dress, I was greeted by Lisa, the owner, who was equally helpful. After three fittings with Sonja, my dress was ready, on time and perfect! It was cleaned, pressed, and exquisite. I also purchased my bridesmaids dresses at Lili and they all LOVED their dresses. The selection is remarkable for both bridesmaid dresses and bridal gowns. They also have a great back room of previous season samples for sale in addition to front room sample sales. All around, a fantastic experience!
- Pros: Friendly staff, efficient fittings
