I worship at the alter of BBQ and this is as good as it gets! X-tra big portions and down right tasty. Worth the drive. Prices ok and service is good.

Not Even Close!

Texas BBQ? Where in Texas did they haveBBQ like this! I currently reside in San Antonio Texas & know what real BBQ is....Dr. Hogly is no where near it. If I want dry, greasy BBQ drowned in poor tasteless sauce Dr. Hoagly's is the place to go. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Meat Platters are Manly

Dr. Hogly Wogly serves big plates of food. I prefer their barbecued beef brisket, spareribs and chicken. The barbecue sauce is good and the beans are very good. Prices are in the medium range. The restaurant is sort of a dive but very authentic - has been around for decades! They also do takeout.

Finger lickin'

Eating at Dr. Hogly Wogly's is like going back in time. The BBQ is great. Nice simple menu and the waitresses are sweet. I feel like I should have a big rig parked outside when I'm elbow deep in that awsome BBQ brisket.
