Sherman Oaks Medical Supply Second to NONE

I whole heartedly recommend using this vendor if you have a medical condition or series of conditions. They will go to the ends of the earth to get you what you need at the best price. All of the staff works in tandem with you the customer and with each other. They are multi lingual, patient, thorough. The staff makes promises and keeps them. My brother is visiting from out of state and needs some supplies for his condition....I said, "Let's stop by tomorrow, I am sure they will help us!" I have no doubt!

Most HELPFUL in the Los Angeles Area!!!

KUDOS!! I went to so many other medical supply places to get a chair for my client with CP. He tilts in his chair and slides to one side all the time. Not one of those other places had ANY idea how to fix it, they just wanted to sell us a $5000 chair he kept sliding out of. Michael (Tech) took one look at my client and said he needed a Rehab Chair! They sent Michael 60 miles to our house to change the backing after one week to see which one he liked. They didn't stop until he was comfortable!! I will NEVER buy any medical supplies from anyone else!! A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I kissed the ground the day I walked into this store!

I was exhausted from moving my mother into a new assisted living facility, but she drastically needed a good walker Rollator to replace what she was using. Her room is pretty far from the Dining Room and the Lobby and Activity room. So I had done some research for 2 days online and called several stores. When I called Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies, they searched their supplies for what I was looking for and said they would match their online prices. But they didn't seem to have what I was looking for. My Mom needed the new walker 3 days before! Well I walked in the store and saw the perfect product on the floor already assembled and set at the perfect height, AND in the right color! The price was way too high for my Mom and since Medi-care had already paid for her other walker, the owner gave me a GREAT deal on the Nova Cruiser Classic that was on the floor. I was so happy I almost cried! To top it off, My mother loves it...she is speeding off to meals and activities! Thank you Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies! One of my Mom's table mates really likes her walker, so she called me to see where I got it and see if they would give her friend a good deal as well. I'm sure they would!

I found exactly what I wanted, excellent service

My father needed a little more assistance than his walker was giving him. I did my research online then looked for the item (a rolling walker with a seat and basket) locally hoping to avoid the shipping delay. Not only did they have the model that was our first choice but in different colors. Don't be mislead by the modest size and ask if you don't see what you are looking for. Their stock room must be packed! The staff was graciously helpful and offered to both assemble the rollator as well as adjust it to my Dad's height and even

attach the optional cup holder we purchased at the same time. I have been here previously to buy small items and they are always busily working with and helping people with motorized wheelchairs etc. They seem to have quite a few regular customers. Great experience, highly recommended.

excellent customer service!

My mom came in town and she had this gigantic electronic wheel chair. I could not lift it because it was 150 pounds solid, almost my body weight. I wanted her to be mobile in Los Angeles so I searched for wheel chair rental online. Voila! Sherman Oaks Medical supplies came up and it was right down the street. Life could not be better. The rental was extremely reasonable. When we arrived, we parked in the rear and a staff member helped my mom into the store. Although there were other customers in the store, we felt as if we were the only ones. SOMS was extremely helpful to fit our needs. The process only took five minutes and we were on our way. Awesome store! I will be going back for other things.

Best Company I've ever worked with

I have never worked with a company that was so invested in their customers safety, and happiness. The people that work here are amazing, they work so hard to give their customers what they need. They made me mobile when I thought that I would not have that chance again. They invested so much time in helping to get Medicare and Medi-cal to cover my wheelchair and they got it approved when other companies could not. I will be coming back over and over again for any medical equipment or supplies that I need. Thank you Sherman Oaks Medical you gave me my life back.

Best Medical Supply place around!

Jack is awesome. My sister and I have been getting my mom stuff here for a while now, but yesterday Jack went above and beyond his normal customer service. We needed a ramp for a newly purchased van, and the ramps in stock where too wide for our situation. Instead of ordering us a smaller width ramp that would make it difficult getting a wheelchair into the van, he customized what he had in stock for us and it only took 10 minutes. He is truely a life saver! We needed by friday but had it that day at no extra cost. They really go above and beyond for their customers :)

Great place

I needed to get a wheelchair for my Dad who is elderly and has trouble walking long distances. Jack was tremendously helpful. He asked a few questions and was able to find exactly the right chair in my price range. I was in and out of the store in about twenty minutes. My Dad loves his new wheelchair and it enables us to go more places together now! I recommend this store very highly and would absolutely shop there again!

Love this place

I just had a wonderful experience at Sherman Oaks Medical. After falling in the shower, I injured my tail bone, and I wanted to buy a special cushion to help relieve pressure from the injured area. The help there was extremely nice and helpful. Great service. They showed me all of the different "tush cushions" (they had a zillion of them) and talked about all of the pros and cons of each. They even let me take a couple out to our car to test them out. And they gave me a nice discount on the one I ended up buying. They were really wonderful and I would totally shop there again.

i have adrenoleukodystrophy, a disabling neurological disease, and i've been going to sherman oaks medical supply for about 20 years. they have a great selection of quality healthcare equipment and supplies at reasonable prices. jack and manny are extremely knowledgeable and offer exceptional customer service. i wouldn't consider going place else.
