I am loving this place!!!

I went last night with my friend and we had a great time! We ordered the bbq, number 107. It was amazing! They brought out the grill and we cooked the meat and vegtables. They have great sauces too. For dessert we ordered two smoothies. One was the durian fruit smoothie. YUM! The price is great there. Very affordable. I highly recomend this hidden gem.

Pho (King)

When you walk into this place you have no idea that a place that lacks ambiance would have such great food. I've been going to Pho So 1 for about 6 years now and I haven't had any pho that beats this place. It's alwasy crowded and for good reason; the food is awesome (especially the fried egg rolls) but the service can sometimes be a little on the rude side...but hey I think that's part of the experience.

Must haves are the afore mentioned egg rolls, number 19 (rare steak pho) and the coffee. On the weekends carry out is probably a better option than waiting for a table, but who can resist dining in and shopping at the Ranch 99 that's next door?

All in all it's a great place for lunch, eat in is better than carry out for the full experience - and don't be put off by seemly rude staff...it's all part of the deal.

Totally "legit"!

This spot is totally "legit"! Well worth the drive for those of you who fear venturing to the Valley. The food was amazing, extremely fresh, and the decor is a perfect blend between Little Hanoi meets Sepulveda Blvd. In other words, we will be going back!

REALLY TASTEY! REALLY GOOD!

I've had pho in many places before, this place is one of the best I've been to by far! Bowls of pho range from $4.00+ Their special 3 colored drink is one of the best I've had as well! It's premade, but other places I've had it at make it taste so bland. this place usually gets pretty packed, but they always find eating for you within about 5-10 minutes. It's nothing fancy or extravagent for first time dates or anything. It's more of for big groups or what not. They also serve corona's here as well! Most Vietnamese pho restaurants don't serve american beer, so this might be a plus for some of you drinkers out there.

• Pros: cheap, filling, fast service
• Cons: hard to find parking
