THIS PLACE IS THE WORST EVER!

I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I took my vacuum cleaner in for repair. I was told to pick it up in two days. it took more than 10 to get my vacuum back. When i got it home it wasn't fixed and i had been charged for the non-service. i took it back, Manny , who claims he's the owner, said he'd fix the problem. A week later it still hadn't been fixed. I told Manny i'd like my vacuum back and a refund for non-service. He became extremely belligerent, and abusive with threats of violence toward me..I'M NOT KIDDING. This guy is a whack job. i got my vacuum cleaner back , without a refund, and chalked it up to a bad experience. But i'm spreading the word: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

DO NOT GO HERE!

I echo all the sentiments here & wish I had read these reviews BEFORE I took in my sewing machine. I took it in on July 1st & was told by Manny that it would be done by the next day. Cut to July 20th & after many excuses & Manny saying he would call me back & then never calling, it is still there. Tomorrow I am going in to pick it up whether it's done or not. I'm guessing it won't be done, & I will have to take it elsewhere. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!

avoid this place at all costs

Oh Man!!

I echo all the sentiments of the other reviewer. When it comes to customer service it is nonexistent(or should I say what customer service???? )First they kept promising me a date to fix my sewing machine. Its been over 3 months now no machine, phone call. All sorts of promises no delivery!In fact they managed to break a part. I don't know what is going on there but the service is non-existent.,

Andy's Vacuum & Sewing Center: RUDE and DEFENSIVE

This is the only vacuum store I have used--going back close to 20 years. But never again! Manny, the only person working there, is rude and belligerant. I brought my vacuum in for repair on a Friday; he said he would call me either that afternoon or the next morning with an estimate. By Monday I had heard nothing, so I called him. He hadn't gotten to it yet and there were two other machines ahead of mine. He would call me that afternoon or Tuesday morning. I still cut him some slack and waited until Wednesday morning. He kept me on hold for over six minutes.

He STILL hadn't gotten to the machine. I told him I needed it for Thursday and had told him that when I brought it in. It was going to be "no problem." When I said he had never called me, he said he had told me only that he would "try" to call but if he called that would be taking time away from doing his work. If I hadn't called him, my vacuum would still be sitting there inoperable. I asked him if I could have a loaner vacuum if mine wasn't repaired in time. He would not answer and said he would call me by 5 p.m. If I hadn't heard from him by 5 I was then allowed to call him.

He is cocky and arrogant. When I picked up my machine, I asked if he was the owner and he said he was. I was tempted to tell him that I would never return and was going to tell everyone I knew in the neighborhood to go elsewhere. But I knew he would be defensive and rude and figured what the hell. I am never going back there. If I treated my clients the way he treats his customers, I wouldn't have a business. Maybe he's off his meds.

THE OWNER MANNY IS IRRESPONSIBLE, CARELESS, INCONSIDERATE and OBNOXIOUS...

The owner (Manny) is IRRESPONSIBLE, CARELESS, INCONSIDERATE and OBNOXIOUS. I took a steam cleaner water tank in for repair. Manny said he needed to order the part and that it would take approximately 5 days. I called him five days later, and he told me that he had simply ?forgotten? to order the part. I called another five days later and he told me it usually takes 10 days to get the part. Okay, so I called back again five days later and he told me it had been delivered to ?his other store? (I later came to find out - there is no other store). As instructed by Manny, I called back another three days later, and he told me that he had simply ?ordered the wrong part?. When I questioned him on his incompetent business practices, he said ?he was not going to go there today, or any other day?? When I expressed my opinion that conducting this kind of poor business would probably result in calls to a certain local business complaint bureau, his reply was: ?Yah...That?ll do a lot?. When I asked him who the owner of his business was, he told me that it was ?irrelevant?. It is a shame that this business has turned into what it has turned into, because for years I have been a loyal customer and received great service. But now, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! There are plenty of other quality vacuum and sewing stores in the 91403 and 91423 zip codes, where customers will hopefully never have to deal with this kind of abuse.
