Accommodating Staff
by eblanaken at Citysearch
Dropped in with my two young children late Sunday afternoon. Kids had Margherita Pizza and Chicken Parmigiana and loved it, clean plates both. The days specials were well described, I opted for the Barramundi fish and was not disappointed. The appetizers were not too kid friendly but the kitchen rustled up some wonderful Bruschetta which my ravenous twosome devoured .The decor is warm and inviting and the atmosphere mirrors it. I can't wait to revisit with my wife for a cozy evening soiree.
- Pros: Friendly Prompt Service
- Cons: None
Light Italian fare with friendly service

My colleague and I had a very pleasant mid-week lunch here. It was marked by attentive service, good food, and reasonable prices in a very friendly, neighborhood place.
Looks slightly run-down on the outside, but a very clean, pleasant interior.
- Pros: Friendly, classy
- Cons: Parking
Good service, bad food.

Nice atmosphere and service, but food is bland and over priced for quality. Sauces were not up to par and lacked flavor. The veal Osso Bucco with risotto was rushed and tasted more like a bland Irish stew with Rice. The Pollo Cipriani was also bland and low quality.
- Pros: Nice atmosphere, great service.
- Cons: Bland food, over priced.
Someone say "Stake?!"

For my best friend's birthday I chose to take her to Tiramisu because I had read good things about it on CitySearch. I was able to make reservations a day in advance for a party of four on Friday night quite easily. When we arrived the atmosphere was very relaxing and mellow. We were able to have a conversation without music or noise drowning us out. When it came to food, I've never really liked red meat but the rib eye steak was delicious. I also tried the salmon filet,it was great too. One of our friends had linguine with mussels, she said it was wonderfully prepared.
The desserts were out of this world, we shared the special which was a chocolate roulette filled with a creamy-custard-y filling, the creme brulee and the tiramisu. Our time there was fantastic, everyone enjoyed themselves, the staff was very personable and helpful... Tiramisu didn't leave any room for dissatisfaction.
- Pros: incrediblely relaxed atmosphere, great food, pleasant waiter
- Cons: None

Fine italian Cuisine in the Valley

The thing about great Italian eateries is that the owners and staff treat each guest as if they were Family. My wife, daughters, and friends have been enjoying this restaurant for many years. Peter and his father have always embraced that Family feeling here which makes this my absolute favorite place to eat. The lasagna here is the best in town, and is my wife's favorite. I love everything from the creative appetizers, to the veal, seafood, and pastas. On my last visit the beet salad was delicious, as was the veal short ribs [osso buco style].
Try it for dinner with friends and family or for a romantic meal for two. I guarantee you will come back again and again.
- Pros: Great Ambiance, Friendly Service, Exceptional Food
- Cons: Can't come up with one.
Wonderful Dining Experience
by EncinoMan at Citysearch
We have dined at Il Tiramisu many times over the years. Peter and his Father have always greeted us like a member of the family. The wait staff is pleasant, knowledgable and subtly attentive. Most important, the chef is consistent in conjuring delicious Italian meals; from traditional pastas to unique specials such as trout wrapped in prosciutto.
The monthly wine dinners have developed a strong following. Here they pair wine with each course for a fixed price. A wonderful opportunity to taste new wines in a lovely restaurant atmosphere.
We have enjoyed dining at many restaurants in Los Angeles. Il Tiramisu is our favorite.
- Pros: Great Food, Personable Service, Wine Dinners!
Awesome Place for Any Occasion

I love this restaurant. The service is always great. The Osso Buco is to die for. It is the perfect place for a special occasion or a date. I've been a loyal customer for years. Its a must try if you're in the area.
- Pros: Fabulous Food, extensive wine list...
- Cons: None

My wife and I love this place and always feel welcomed.
The food is delicious, the service perfect and setting classy and warm.
It is worth a visit and I’m sure you’ll return.

- Cons: Small bar/entry, but always fun.
Fine dining Italian menu and ambience with the most inviting vibe anywhere.

My fiancee favors their daily specials with exotic soups (frequently pureed with no cream) and exquisitely light but flavorful fish dishes, often in white wine sauces as a nice break from the standard heavy Italian fare. I'm a creature of habit so I usually go for the Arrugua salad with goat cheese, pine nuts and sliced Bressaola (a dry prosciuotto) to start and the best Veal Milanese in town for my entree. The thing we both love is the staff: Peter and his crew have been there for years, they're like family. If I forget to call in advance on a weekend, they manage to get us in. We've had big celebrations as well as romantic dinners for two and we've never been let down. It's the perfect hybrid when you want a cut above but don't want to be stuffy.
- Pros: Interesting specials, great food and service.
- Cons: You might get addicted.
