Barone's pizza is without a doubt the best, most unusual, tastiest thing you will ever eat. They closed their Toluca Lake branch so I don't get to go there as much as I want, but it is fantastic. If you eat in, the atmosphere is Regal Beagle all the way-- '70s and not apologizing for it. The other dishes there are very old-school, not fancy Italian, but solid. But I would stick to the pizza; it's just simply the best. I ran a marathon last year and everyone asked me what I wanted to eat afterwardI had Barones cheese pizza.
