Couch cushions are no longer flat.

by llyonize

My couch cushions had gone flat so I needed to replace the foam, I actually had the replacement foam, but I needed a way to get the foam into the couch....how was I going to do this??? Well thankfully I went to foam mart, they had this nifty machine that basically shrinks the foam, so it easily fits into the material, very cool. So now my couch cushions are back how they should be. Not only do they sell every kind of foam you can imagine, but they have cool bean bags, and all kinds of material to chose from. Pretty cool place, check it out if you have never been. And the staff was super helpful.

  • Pros: Staff, so much to choose from
  • Cons: Kinda busy at lunch time

excellent service

by finertouch

I went in to make a foam costume, they had the exact foam I was looking for. Something that I could mold and bend. Also special glues and paints for foam. The had the fake fur, not the exact one I wanted but I found something similar.

The sales people were nice and knowledgable.

overall a great shopping experience

  • Pros: huge selection of foam and specialty fabrics

Monopoly makes for interesting service

by LOSTANGELINO

Since Diamond Foam stopped cutting, and Michael Levine doesn't cut, this is kind of the last hold-out foam cutting joint. And they know it. So they don't really care about your needs. If you ask them to cut to specific measurements, they do not listen, and you are forced to go back there to have them cut it again. Sloppy. But their prices are not bad. You just have to be really firm and not take no for an answer.

  • Pros: Prices, availability of product
  • Cons: They do not take direction well.
