HORRIBLE. The most horrible most uncaring people in the world.
by sunsyn1 at Citysearch
These are the most horrible people in the world. They are astonishingly cruel and don't care about the customer at all. They only car about making a buck. They treated me so horribly that I still cry. I was in tears when I left and they don't care. They have the audacity to still send me stuff in the mail when I have asked them not to because of the traumatic experience I had. Traumatic experience. When I spoke to the owner Chris Ashworth (more like A** worthless) he was condescending and wouldn't appologize. He just kept saying what a great deal it was. It's not about the car. It's about the experience and I was emotionally RAPED at North Hollywood Toyota. It is just as traumatic as being physically beaten except that bruises go away. Yet they take no responsibility for their actions because they ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY AND NOT THE CUSTOMER. Do not see Ryan. He is the offender. Ryan will berate you and try to make you feel stupid. Everytime you say that you don't want to do this, he will argue with you and tell you that you are being stupid or that your old car is dangerous. And whatever you do, do not give them the keys to your old car so they can "take a look at it". You will never get them back. They will hold them and not let you leave untill you sign what ever papers they have put infront of you. Even if they have to fill out the rest of the paperwork themselves. They rest of the paperwork that you as the customer are supposed to fill out. They will do whatever they have to to sell a car even if it means raping someone. don't let it happen to you!!!!!!!
- Pros: non
- Cons: they will take advantage of any situation. Horrible people
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
by LABUTTERFLY at Citysearch
My fault for being taken advantage of,but when gas was high,I bought a hybrid here and now I m so upside down in this car, that even this dealership where I bought it to begin with will not work something out. They make such a big deal about being part of the "Toyota Financial FAMILY" yet will not do you any justice. This was my 3rd Toyota,my last becouse of this experience.Good product, but to deal with any of this jerks will eventually hurt their business.I work at Universal and I plan on boycotting them.If I can save anyone else my perdicament, than at the very least, spare what i went through.
- Pros: can t think of any
- Cons: Charged way over invoice
great sales man - KRIS ASSAD
by MeherA at Citysearch
By far the best service I have experienced with car buying/leasing. KRIS ASSAD - Internet Sales Manager, is the meaning of EXCELLENCE. He sold me the car over the phone. The paperwork I signed at the end of the day matched the exact numbers Kris quoted me over the phone. If you're like me and hate the hassle of buying or leasing from dealerships and don't want to waste your day arguing or negotiating, GO SEE KRIS ASSAD at No Ho Toyota. Kris is by far the most HONEST, COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL, HARD WORKING, PRETTY MUCH THE DEFINITION OF EXCELLENT SERVICE. i HAVE NOTHING MORE TO SAY. I love my brand new 2010 Camry, and thanks to Kris, not only can I afford the payments, I saved so much money, I can even buy him a nice Christmas gift. Go check it out, what do you have to lose?
- Pros: everything
- Cons: none
Not Impressed

Took my old Explore for Cash for Clunker deal to get myself something small and fuel efficient. Somehow, they made it look like I was getting 4500 discount from the dealers and that is it. when that was clearing coming from the government. I had to make sure they give me 4500 credit on top of the deal I was about to make. Well.. I didn't buy my car there. So shady sales and finance people there.
- Cons: Shady
Very Bad Dishonest Push Sales People
by Haydennnn at Citysearch
I was looking for a used Prius couple weeks ago and dropped by the Toyota N Hollywood to check one out. They did have the exact color and model I was looking for. However... that's the only good part. Once I started the negotiating process, it got worth and worth.
First, they not only tried to offer me some ridiculously low trade in value, they tried sell me all sorts of non-sense services to me including extra warranty that cost way too much and GAP insurance which I do not need at all. I did my research and know what I need and what they were, but they tried to talk to me like I had no idea what I am talking about. They were very push as well. They almost made me sign a contract without letting me know what exactly it is. Good thing I pointed it out beforehand.. I was so fed up, I simply walked out. Her name was Tina.
Definitely one of the worst experience I've had. I ended up buying my Prius at Pasadena Toyota where I was treated properly. Unless you are ready to be hassled and harassed, Do not buy your car from Toyota North Hollywood.
- Pros: Is there one?
- Cons: No Business Ethics
Worst Stealership EVER! They will SCAM you BIG TIME!
by AaronJ at Citysearch
Just like many dealerships around town, they will scam UNEDUCATED buyers big time. Saleswoman, TINA, is a conning, dishonest saleswoman with questionable business ethics.
My friend has purchased two cars from this dealership... then I saw the contracts way~ after. Unfortunately, my friend was not an educated buyer and went to the dealership with no research of any kind what-so-ever. My friend is also not so good with cars nor negotiating. Perfect bait for all the conning car sales men/women out there.
I won't go into all the details.. just a hint of what you can expect from TINA or other DIRTY sales force there.. because it makes me sick to my stomach.. but it seems they are notorious for selling USELESS Warranty for a lot of money. 2008 Rav4 bought in 2008 with about 12000 miles... This car had all the factory warranty that is still valid not to mention Certified warranty provided by Toyota... then WHY would this car need another extra warranty for 84 month /100,000 miles for $2500?????? Yes.. like mentioned before, my friend was stupid.. but Com'on! You cannot just take advantage of your unsuspecting customer!!! Where is your INTEGRITY? HONEST BUSINESS ETHICS????
Fortunately.. if you are reading these reviews, chances are you will be educated enough not to make any stupid decisions, but please do my friend a favor and take your business to other Toyota dealership with some integrity. Please...
- Pros: Absolutely Zero
- Cons: Very Dishonest Business Practice

What a good day.

I went in to check what price I can get on a FJ Cruiser on the No. Hollywood lot. A sales man (Michael Gagne) showed up in about three minutes. SO FAR SO GOOD. After a short greeting , Michael asked if i would LIKE some help. I said I did. NOW HERE I WILL TELL YOU THAT I AM A MECHANIC OF 20 YEARS. I'll KEEP THIS SHORT . After the usual questions , hp, colors and price I asked about the options. All that I wanted was available and he didn" have to leave me to go ask someone else. I also asked him questions I knew the answers to. Like how is the ride? (no drive test yet) He looked at me and said. "Not as good as you might hope. iF YOUR LOOKING FOR A BETTER RIDE THEN YOU SHOULD CONSIDER A 4-Runner for a smother ride". I have to say, that was some honesty I didn't expect. Michael answered all my questions and that was a refeshing experiances. I'll be back to the No. Hollywood Toyota to get my FJ but only on the days Michael works.
