Place is a dump

We had two rooms and both were bad. No pool, no bathtub, rude clerk that yelled every time she spoke. It was like no one knew what they were doing. I prepaid they did not believe even with confermation ID. I got out as soon as everything was cleared up because the room were not worth staying in even at that price. Hotel 8 is a 4 star compared to this place.

A modest motel close to movie studios and geared for budget-minded tourists.

The Scene
This two-story motel offers its guests a reasonably priced stay in Studio City, an up-and-coming enclave of shops, cafes and movie studios. If you're in town for entertainment business on the cheap, or are used to spending the majority of your holidays with a backpack on, this is the place for you.

The Details
Greeted by a friendly staff, guests appreciate the clean, contemporary guest rooms that feature modest seating on the verandah; all were renovated in 2003-04 and include hair dryers, fridges and microwaves. The motel's best asset is its crew, whose experience in helping tourists includes offering advice on how to avoid L.A.'s notorious traffic, recommending great beachcombing and Malibu hiking, or suggesting an inexpensive Italian dinner. The concierge can offer special discounted admission ticket to Universal Studios.

Hotel is very well maintained, very attentive & helpful staff, extremely clean rooms with all of the needed amenities for it's class of properties. I had a great experience for what I paid for the room.
