Best Tattoos in LA

Got my first tattoo in 12 years. Skylar hooked me up last Thursday. It was a simple tribal zodiac tattoo on my calf, but he did amazing work. My wife and I were there for a few hours, and we spoke with the all the employees. Everyone was really cool, and it was just fun to hang out while waiting. Steve pierced my ears while I was waiting, and it was quick and painless. The whole place is kept clean and spotless, which was encouraging. If you want another tattoo or piercing, this is the place to go. I definitely will be returning to Skylar in the future!

SLIM did an amazing job covering up my I-got-them-when-I-was-young-and-stupid tattoos, the time on the chair was well worth it, those silly tattoos were a bygone era. With a steady hand and hours of entertainment, he made my visit a definitely memorable one. The work that he does is impeccable, and I am definitely appreciative of the creative work on his part that went in to creating the perfect "cover-up job" :)

First tattoo for 40th birthday celebrations

Never considered a tattoo in my life until I hit 40. Had an artist create a design and then went on the search for a place that had a good reputation. I WAS NERVOUS AS HELL. So many good reviews pointed us to Studio City Tattoo. We drove 4 1/2 hours to LA just for the tattoo event. Dana helped me through my extreme needle phobia. In the same visit, the love of my life also had her 40th birthday celebration tattoo custom designed and applied to her lower back. We are thrilled and I have no doubt that Studio City Tattoo will be doing all our future tattoos. Thanks team for your professionalism... particularly Dana.

Got my tattoo done by Captain Dave! He is nothing short of a true artist and is also very meticulous. He guarantees his work, if you need a touch up, like I did a few months after, he will touch up your tat at no extra charge!

Whether it be Captain Dave or any of the other tattoo artists, this is THE place to get a tat done in L.A. Beguiling pirate atmosphere! . Not intimidating in the least, I have seen people from ALL walks of life in the studio. A must for tattoo virgins!!

I have never once been disappointed with any of the work done at Studio City Tattoo. The artists and piercers are AMAZING and always make you feel comfortable. I won't go anywhere else in California and I will always recommend anyone to go to the shop for tattoos or piercings! They are THE best.

My wife and I went to Studiocity Tattoo to get our newest tattoos. All the artists are great but we had Dana hook us up. Minetook longer then we expected but the atmosphere and vibe made the hours of pain more tolerable!! Dana is a quirky dude and meticulous and the tattoos are just awesome. We will be back!

Best place to get inked!

Got my first major tattoo a few months ago at Studio City Tattoo. The staff is highly professional, the pirate ambience is unique and comfortable, and best of all, there's Illya, the brilliant artist who brought my design to life - his work is absolutely exquisite! Highly recommended.

I got a forearm tattoo of the invisible man done by dana. It came out incredible, better than I couldve imagined. I get compliments on it everywhere I go. Ill surely be back at studio city tattoo next time I get tatted

New Moon

Went in for a double tattoo. Came out with matching Anchors that was beautiful, neat, colorful. Didnt hurt much! LOL Illia rocks! I could have gave him a big kiss on his lucky stars!
