Best Fro Yo EVER.
by missamyk
I love this place. I live in Downtown L.A., but I have no problem making the drive down to Pasadena for this delightful treat. The frozen yogurt is always the highest quality - very light and creamy and smooth, with no weird aftertaste or that sour yogurt flavor. It's impossible to believe this stuff is a low-cal treat. The flavors change daily and are posted on their website. The best I've had there is Cookies & Cream, but it's impossible to go wrong, even with their standard Vanilla. The best part about this place is the endless array of mix-ins. The combination possibilities will stretch your creative culinary muscle. Try pairing banana and macadamia nuts in Valharona Chocolate, or add animal crackers to Vanilla Bean. They have every mix-in fathomable, from fresh fruits to cereal to Twinkies. The only drawbacks are its location, parking (downtown Pasadena can get crazy at night), and the fact that there is ALWAYS a line. But the line moves fast, and the wait (and the drive) is totally worth it.
- Pros: Great frozen yogurt, large selection of mix-ins
- Cons: Location, parking, line
Cold Stone without the calories!!!!
by wam08
I love this place!!! My friends and I have definitely gotten into the southern california forzen yogurt craze, but I often find myself missing the real desserty feel of ice cream with mix ins (cold stone?), 21 choices fills that void without the high calories of ice cream! The yogurt is alot creamier than other frozen yogurt places, but still not too filling. I love that they give you a decent sized portion of mix-ins and actually mix them in like cold stone, not just place a few on top like other frozen yogurt places. Its fun to try their daily made flavors and they have TONS of mix-ins which give you endless creative options. On top of all this it is great that they use biodegradeable bowls and spoons and use organic and fresh ingredients. Its totally worth the wait or the slightly higher cost.
- Pros: Great flavors, good portions, awsome service
- Cons: usually a wait
the best yogurt, period
by chloesantos
creative. friendly staff. worth the wait. there will always be one flavor you are in love with for that day - and if all else fails, there's chocolate and vanilla!
Yogurt options aren't scarce at this friendly and green yogurt joint that allows customers to create their own frozen masterpieces.

In Short
Families and friends gather inside this red-brick building that delivers non-artificial flavors of frozen yogurt, all of which are completely organic. If Coldstone Creamery was a yogurt shop, this would be it. Customers are constantly kept on their toes with original creations like raspberry splash and chocolate chip cookie dough, which include mix-ins to form customized flavors and are switched-up and made fresh daily. Organic fruit toppings vary from strawberries and bananas to kiwi and pineapple.
Hits: Employees are extremely friendly and accommodating. The express line moves fast, thanks to several premixed treats.
Misses: Prices can be high, depending on what and how much of it you order, and the place is packed throughout the day.
Healthy Yogurt

It is very creamy yogurt. Check out for the daily special. It should be your first time to check out when you step in.
Dreamy Fro Yo
by tyneshad
Even though the place is tiny and always crowded, I love the variety and creamy deliciousness at this place. It's kinda like Coldstone in that they mix in different toppings, but it's better because they change the flavors of their treats periodically. It's like the proverbial box of chocolates...you never know what you'll be able to get!
- Pros: Friendly service and really good frozen yogurt
- Cons: VERY small space, nowhere to really chill and enjoy your dessert
Great yogurt and customer service!

Located on a corner near a bookstore and some great eateries in Old Town, this 21 Choices is a great place to grab a cold treat after lunch on a warm sunny day. The staff is very friendly here and have made some great recommendations.
Pick up a cold treat
by dauphin824
This is a great place to pick up your dessert. While there's not a great place to sit with your fro yo - you can get it and walk around old town pas. They will mix any toppings you like into your choice of yogurt just like coldstone. They also have ready made flavors that are extremely tasty! My favorite is Cookie Parade, which is vanilla and mothers cookies - and something else that I can't really identify, but it's yummy none-the-less.
Awesome Frozen Yogurt!
by leilaninm
I never went in there because it always seemed so crowded, but now I see why! It's amazing! The staff was super friendly and knowledgable. They let me taste my creation before I paid to make sure I was totally satisfied. And needless to say, I was. :)
- Pros: Great Fro Yo
- Cons: Sometimes crowded
Good FroYo
by multi
I got a small with half vanilla and half peach pineapple sorbet. Portion was good and it was really yummy. I like the vanilla frozen yogurt because it had nice flavor not like the vanilla extract flavor. The texture was awesome too. You can get topping and they will mix it for you similiar to coldstone. I didn't get any mix ins since I don't like melted ice cream or frozen yogurt. They change the flavors of frozen yogurt from time to time. That day I went, they had vanilla, peach pineapple sorbet, root beer and chocolate. However, the place seemed kinda dirty. The staff's clothing and apron had chocolate and other mystery stuff all over. The frozen platform they do the mix in seemed kinda icky (that's why I skipped the mix in). Fortunately, I didn't get sick from eating it so I think you'll be fine. :)
- Pros: Frozen Yogurt
- Cons: Slow Service, Cleanliness
