Fresh Oysters

Fresh and great oysters and beer selections. The food is very generic and bland. BUT, the quality of seafood is great.

Small portions but good food.

I've had the food here a few times so far, take out and dine-in. The Soft Shell crab was anything close to that, plus it had sand in it. The Tazmanian Trout however, was amazing yet tiny. My salad was ok... Nothing great but at least I know what to order now. Sushi isnt bad either. Oh and, stinky outdoor patio due to sewer gases, nothing horrible but a faint whiff randomly. It happens......

My Favorite Restaurant

I love this restaurant and it is my favorite.

The food is delicious. I especially love the parmasian sand dabs. Our waiters have always been friendly and very good service. If you want a real treat on a beautiful day go there and sit outside by the water. It is so pleasant and the food is so good. I could spend the day there.

18.00 bucks for four small pieces of fish and a plate full of frozen french fries. And on top of that an empty restaurant.

they ruin seafood here-can the SPCA

Liked the ambiance and service very much and I'm sure the raw oysters are fine, but what they did to our Oysters Rockefeller was criminal--terrible. The sauce was unedible, nothing close to professional chefs. Must have come from a can from a supplier. The best were at the Seashell in Tarzana, but they've closed unfortunately. Not to mention how they way over cooked the calamari and cajun shrimps. Had hoped for more. Don't have a clue why its rated so high. Just trendy yuppies or are the owners friends doing the rating.

Can do much better at home.

This is definitely the place!!

We loved our visit to this place. The Cioppino is to die for, served in a steamy pot and with plentiful shellfish. The salads are also great! We also had the mahi mahi, which was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was extremely knowledgable and helpful--he is the one who recommended the Cioppino! The decor is casual but comfortable. Fish is fresh and delicious! we plan on going back once a month.

Best Oysters bar around hands down.

This place is my personal fav. seafood type of place. Love their FRESH oysters. All around good menu. ust try kind of place. Also has the main resturant attached.

Great seafood in Calabasas!

The Calabasas Commons is populated with several upscale chain restaurants but the star is Kings Fish House!

Great seafood at reasonable prices!! A separate bar area that has a great appetizer menu - and great happy hour specials (try the oyster shooters and ceviche!!)
