I went here once for dessert with a friend and it was great. However, I went for dinner recently with some friends and waited an hour to be seated on a Monday night. When we finally got our table, it was really loud inside so we couldn't hear each other talking. We got a variety of crepes and the chicken marsala to share, but the chicken in all the dishes was dry and a bit overcooked. The server was nice, but everything took a long time overall. Also, the owner goes around to all the tables with women and flirts with them while ignoring all the men. With so many choices in Belmont Shores, I can easily take my business elsewhere.

  • Pros: Great dessert
  • Cons: Loud, slow, dinner

I frequently go to La Creperie. Every time I go there I recieve delicious, fast, and fancy food. The service is fantastic! I also love the decor, it really makes me feel like I am at a 5 star restaraunt in Paris!

  • Pros: excellent food!
  • Cons: NO CONS, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!

I have been to the Creperie like 4 or 5 times. i like the food, but it is pricey and the portions are small. i wish they would make "regular american" food size, not "french people" size. the regular large size is just too small. Last time I was there i ordered two of the large dinner size crepes. so i got plenty, but i paid plenty too.

the building decor is a little weird, but overall a good place. i will go back.

  • Pros: Good Food. Nice Service.
  • Cons: Weird restaurant decor. slow service. pricey. small portions.

This friendly local favorite is where Long Beach crepe cravers go for freshly made versions of the sweet (and savory) stuff.

The food and the crepes are wonderful, service is ok, what you would expect for a busy place. I am surprised that people do not walk out without paying as it takes so long to get your check and then even long to pay. I wish they would make the patio non-smoking, so many times have I just wanted to sit outside and enjoy the ambience of the patio to be put off by people smoking. Even if you sit inside you can still smell the smoke because they door is open, do people think that smoke does not travel, it is very off putting hence the rating of only average.

  • Pros: Friendly atmosphere
  • Cons: Smoking area

With its lavish decorations and delicious food this restaurant has turned all of my friends into frequenters when they feel like driving to Long Beach. The quality of food is undeniable whether you get a sweet or savory crepe.

To be honest it is a bit pricey for a day time treat, but for dinner and breakfast it is worth it.

Also, if you have been to or are from Europe it can be a nostalgic visit; it is one of the few places I have seen that serve Orangina and where you may find people dipping garlic fries in mayonaise.

If you're looking of a romantic place to dine, La Creperie doesn't fall short of excellent French cuisine. The menu is filled with delicious French crepes, both savory and sweet to your liking. The atmosphere of the restaurant creates just the right aura to a romantic evening for two or a casual lunch rendez-vous on a beautiful sunny afternoon. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is just like dining at a cafe in Paris. Enjoy!

This is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is so good!!! My personal favorite is the Di Pollo crepe. They have a good variety of crepes as well as other dishes. The atmosphere is really cool too. The decor is very 'french bistro' and they usually have some sort of music during dinner. You can watch them make you're food through a glass window to the kitchen. The downsides are that there is often a long wait, so make reservations if possible or go during off peak hours. The service is unpredictable. There have been times where it's good and times when it took forever just to get our order placed, much less received. But again, the food is excellent!!

Le Creperie is a favorite of mine out of all the restaurants on 2nd Street. The wait can be up to 30 minutes at the busiest time, but there is a comfy lounge seating area so you can relax and browse the menu. The decor is slightly over-the-top with wall sized mirrors, leopard print chairs, and giant chandeliers; but it makes for a very bohemian atmosphere. There's a window to the kitchen on the back wall where patrons seated in that area can watch the crepes made fresh by hand. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. I prefer going on Mondays when bottles of wine are 1/2 off. It's slightly less crowded, but still lively especially for being early in the week. The place smells lightly of garlic fries, which I absolutely recommend trying (you won't be disappointed!). The food is great, but again, the wait can be kind of long. Definitely save room for a desert crepe. My favorite is the classic crepe suzette. Overall, Le Creperie has a very pleasant atmosphere, enjoyable food, and no rush service so you can sit back and socialize over a bottle of wine or two!

  • Pros: Ambience, Friendly Service, Good food
  • Cons: Long wait, Crowded, Can be loud
