Denny's in the top 10??? This is strictly a default restaurant, as in, you're driving cross-country at 3am and there's nothing else open in the entire state of Iowa. You live in LA, for christsakes! Go to Swingers, Fred 62, the Pantry, or at least Astro.
- Pros: none
- Cons: everything
Known for its breakfasts, this diner chain slings all-American grub and bottomless cups of coffee.

In Short
With its kid-friendly vibe, booth seating and late-night hours (most stores are open 24 hours), Denny's draws night owls, seniors and families with kids. The menu sticks to classic American staples: wings, chicken strips, burgers, salads and the like. But breakfast is king, with specialties ranging from skillets, egg scrambles, French toast platters and several variations on the famous Grand Slam: two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, two bacon strips and two sausage links.
Intoxicated in Tijuana?

Spare me here. I lived in Ca. for 20 years, grew up in Orange County, and spent the better part of my dining days in fabulous restaurants..... and Denny's is on the list for best breakfast? The only time I EVER remember Denny's being passable for food, was on trips home from the border, at 3 am and drunk.
I do still come back in Ca. and enjoy dining all over L.A and Orange County.... but Denny's is not on my list of anything that resembles good eating. Instead of grease and grime, and questionable kitchen sacrafices, I prefer "The Beach House" in Laguna, right on the water, great food, great service, and who could ask for more than the ocean as a view, whilst sipping coffee, fresh o.j and enjoying Eggs Florentine...... Denny's? anyone want the worm?
- Pros: Cheap, Inexpensive, Affordable
- Cons: Greasy, Poor service, No Atmosphrere

Denny's has the best food . The only problem with them, I found is their portions. They are very stingy. I think they need to put more on the plate, for being an American tradition restrarant.
- Pros: Family oriented, Kid friendly, Good waitress/waiters
- Cons: Portions, Prices, Selection

This was the dirtiest Denny"s I had ever seen. And at one time I used to frequent a lot of them all over the US.
great place any time of the day

Dennys is open 24 hours, 365 days a year, so no matter what time you're hungry, they always have something for you. The breakfast is very good and cheap. You can't beat that. You will walk out of there full for about 5 dollars. Lunch and dinner are a little more expensive, but still very good. I used to go all the time at midnight or so and get their ice cream sundaes or motzarrella sticks (or both!). But the best part is that you can go at midnight and eat breakfast if you want to. It's a great place, no matter what you're hungry for. You can't beat that!
- Pros: great variety, good food, cheap
