Wooooow
by meeeeshell at Citysearch
My friends and I had dinner at Saddle Ranch last night. Wow was the food amazing. The steaks are to die for and are always prepared just right. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive to us. He definately made us feel like part of the Saddle Ranch Family. I love that!
We got one of our friends to even ride the mechanical-bull. What a riot that was. We haven't had that much fun in a while. We will definately be back!!
- Pros: Amazing Food, Amazing Service
Played out

This place used to be fun but the times I have gone...its empty. There isn't a fun crowd and i don't want to go back. The drinks and food are pricey.
Decent

It was OK. Not the best place in LA. Not the worst place in LA. It was fun. Kitchy. Our server was sweet and nice. (I think she said she was new?) The decor is fun. I get it. When we were finishing up our dinner was when the "crowd" was showing up for the more Bar like nightlife. Definitely not where I would hang out for drinks, seeing as how I'm not in a Frat or a Big Boobed Blonde hoping to go home with someone in a Frat.
But we had a good time. And I liked the food. I think you just got to go in knowing what to expect.
- Pros: good food, friendly service
- Cons: Bar Crowd - noise (unless you're looking for that)
If I could give this restaurant less than 1 star I would.

This place has gone downhill. The food was wrong, the server was snooty, the bartenders were rude and the prices were high! We won't be going back.
- Pros: None
- Cons: All
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. ANYWHERE ELSE

If you are reading this, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Anywhere else. There are so many places to go in Hollywood. Bad crowd, pricey drinks (that are extremely weak) and horrible service.
- Cons: Too many to list
A different kind of service
by Addicted2Tanning at Citysearch
We usually have had good experiences at the Saddle Ranch on Sunset. But for some reason, last night was lacking in the customer service area. We were there around 12:30am and wanted some breakfast that is served "3:00-close" according to their menu. As I ordered my breakfast, the server told me that they weren't serving breakfast. I asked why and she said- "Because we don't, I mean what time is it?" We replied- "Not close". She said- "I'm sorry, we're just not..." It took her a while to get back to us and then when she finally did, she forgot her pen. She was just a mess. We ordered dessert, she brought the bill and came back for the bill before we had even signed it and stood behind my boyfriend while he wrote it out and then apoligized and said "I just want to go home". We ate and then gave her a $3 tip on a $50 bill and left.
I hope our next visit isn't this disappointing!!
- Pros: The Huge Mai Tai's
- Cons: The service on our visit :(
Perfect cross between club/restaurant atmosphere
by jenheidir at Citysearch
The high energy at the Sunset Blvd location is only outdone by the restaurant?s huge portion sizes. Drinks to dinner options can feed at least two people in most cases. I?ve never had a bad meal here. Their fish and meat always comes out so juicy, and the biscuits are just heavenly light. Plus, I love their specialty drinks, especially the mai tai that really packs a punch-in flavor as well as other categories. The restaurant is designed to look like a Southwestern saloon, completely with a mechanical bull-ride that definitely provides entertainment all night long with its string of victims. The service has always been very friendly and efficient when I?ve gone, even on Saturdays. The place gets pretty crowded on weekends, and lines for tables can get long, but Saddle Ranch?s fun, high-energy atmosphere always makes it worth the wait for me.
- Pros: fun atmosphere, food, drinks, service
- Cons: expensive, long waits
A very fun time!!
by abd1350 at Citysearch
Went here a few weeks ago for my dad's birthday. GREAT place. If you're looking for a fun, rowdy good time, go here! The food is really good, but HUGE in portion size. The staff is very nice (at least our waiter was), but my favorite part is the mechanical b*ll, which I rode (barely). It's just a great place to kick back and eat. My only suspicion was the staff's looks...they were all beautiful! Hm...
- Pros: Food, Ambiance, Service
- Cons: Portion, Parking, Crowded
VIOLENT, DISHONEST STAFF!!!!
by jeremylight at Citysearch
My friend and I were assaulted by saddle ranch staff after being accused of vandalizing. My friend suffered broken ribs, a concusion and muliple head injuries after being slammed into the ground for questioning their allegations. They are shady, violent, aggressive and corrupt. The west hollywood sheriffs are in their pocket as well, don't bother calling them they will not help. If ever attacked there (and there is a good chance you will be) ask for another agency when calling 911!!!
MY ADVICE: NEVER GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. CALL FOR THE PERMENENT CLOSURE OF THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!!
- Pros: NONE
- Cons: VIOLENT STAFF
Annoying staff, annoying crowd
by jericsmall at Citysearch
The Saddle Ranch on Sunset in West Hollywood might as well advertise as a fraternity party. The patrons are noisy, rude, and annoyingly drunk. Most amusing are the swarmy guys circling like vultures looking for the right girl to pick up. The girls tend to be the only ones on the mecho-bull -- with absolutely no talent for it. And the staff are too busy to be friendly. Outside, the staff will harass you if you attempt to catch a cab -- on the public sidewalk no less. Stop in for the novelty but move on quickly.
- Cons: Nightmare parking
