I've gotten 2 tattoos here, both by Sean... HE IS THE BEST!!! I would never consider going anywhere else. Very clean, friendly people... highly recommend to anyone thinking of getting a tattoo. I absolutely love my tattoos... I've had them for years and they look awesome. You'll be thrilled with the results.

Pros: Total pros, very friendly, not overly priced and EXTREMELY talented.

but only if you want clean lines, bright colors, and that ink that you can be proud of. hands down the best on the beach. but you could figure that out by just going, speaks for itself. now go...

After shopping around for weeks for a tattoo shop that i would feel comfortable, confident and trusting, I came across HOUSE OF INK in Venice beach. I had heard the name during my research... it just kept on beeing mentioned by friends and aquaintances. So i decided to check them out, on the first phone call i knew they were the one, so kind ,friendly ,and resourceful, and answered all my questions to my full satisfaction and were not pushy or impatiant. I went in and got the best service i could ever imagine. The Artists are all phenominal and amazing and the tattoo is outstanding. LOVE THEM.

Pros: friendly,kind, talented, experienced, CLEAN!!!!!!

Cons: I Want more #@!&^%%

I already have a few tattoos but wanted to find a shop that looked clean and the artists were friendly. I heard about house of ink when my friend told me about it. I walked in and instantly knew that I wanted to get my work done here. An artist greeted me as soon as I walked in and asked if I needed help. Not only was everyone very nice but its the nicest shop to walk into. A big screen plasma and monitors hanging from the ceiling showing various tattoos. My tattoo came out better than I thought. Very rich colors and the black outline and shading was perfect. I will be getting my whole arm done at House of Ink and I recommend everyone go check it out for themselves. Youll be very impressed.

Pros: Great artists, clean facility, friendly staff.

I've heard of many ruthless stories about getting tattoos in Venice. Which has always shyed me awaay from getting one on the boardwalk. On a trip to the beach, my friend and I passed by the House of Ink. It was definitly different from the rest of the tattoo and piercing shops. It was not dirty and the people weren't scary looking. The employees were even better with such personality that put the weary at ease. I also found out that the House of Ink is a very sanitary place, which has a ultrasonic and a autoclave. As a dentist's daughter, I know that these machines are the best way to sterilize equipment. In the end, my friend and I got matching tattoo of a pink skull. :-)

This is hands down the best tattoo shop ive ever gotten work done at. Everyone is friendly, its bright and clean and the artwork is awesome. i came into the shop with and old mistake (my ex name on my arm) and left with a beautiful heart with wings. Teri was my tattoo artist. She was really patient with me while I was deciding on which wings i wanted. She was so nice and and knowledgable from aftercare to planning my next tattoo to flow with my exsisting work so it blends all together. I LOVE MY NEW TATTOO!!! It's better than I ever imagined and I'm never going anywhere else!!

I like the shop a lot and will return. Chuck cleaned up some earlier work and expanded it and is now working on a sleeve for me. I love it. I had an idea, he made it better. Can't wait to get more work. I'll definitely be back.

Pros: Nice enough place, but damn good price and amazing work. Couldn't ask for better.

I visited House of Ink almost a year ago, and was pleased to find a clean professional staff on hand. Having had ink done in some of the "best" shops in Seattle, I am extremely pleased with my koi done by Chuck. I am heading back later this fall and plan on adding to my collection, a must stop for the tattoo collector. GREAT prices, wonderful work.

I stopped at a few other places that were ranked higher here on citysearch and the first didn't really do piercings, the 2nd couldn't be bothered to help me out, and so I stopped by House of Ink and was pleasantly surprised by their friendliness, immediate customer service, and chill attitude. Not to mention its even cooler to get pierced by women. My nose piercing looks great!!

Pros: Friendly, prompt, casual atmosphere.

Cons: Piercing table is right where you walk in.

So i went here for my first tattoo, i got a design that starts at my shoulder and wraps all the way around to my elbow. I came in with a general idea of what i wanted, but then just asked the artist to customize it and basically draw what they thought would look best on me. I was given a good price, and since i was a beginner, the artist was very chill, and made me feel comfortable. The other employees at the shop also talked to me, and complemented the tattoo throughout the session. I felt very comfortable, and not so much like a "rookie." Overall a good job, and im sure ill be back.

Pros: Nice workers who greet you as soon as you walk in.

Cons: Couldnt think of any.
