I am watching right now on the show Clean House Jenny Phillips and her family. I decided to look her business up online and the same picture of the business here is the one on the show Clean house. Very impressed with her owning this business.

There's turn-of-the-last-century atmosphere galore in this green and purple Victorian house-turned-boutique decorated with vintage lamps, life-sized mermaids, creepy-cute knickknacks and an eclectic selection of special occasion attire and novel treats for your inner magpie. Each room has a different focus, with the back bedroom devoted to young designer Ric-Rac and his repurposed vintage menswear. For the fillies, there's the tailored flounce of Smoke and Mirrors, Vivienne Westwood's striking knit monkey-print dress, and peek-a-boo crisscross wedge sandals by Irregular Choice. Jars of retro candies line the jewel case, stocked with art nouveau-inspired Double K pendants forged from bullet casings.

Hip & Trendy Store

A bunch of friends attended the Metropolis Fashion Show last night, which featured Sirens & Sailors,

and we all loved the "Jennifer Phillips" clothing line. Jennifer Phillips is such a talented designer.

Sirens & Sailors has great clothes and some of the best selections. I highly recommend checking

out the store.

Hot Clothes and Accesories

Just discovered the store. My neighbor was wearing a Cool black dress to a party and she said that

she bought it at "Sirens & Sailors". So now, I do most of my shopping at "Sirens & Sailors". With the

holidays coming up- I definitely will be doing my gift shopping here. Great idea having a store in a house.

Fun and Unique

Great store!!! They have unique one of a kind selections. Funky and fun clothes. I love the Javier clothing line. The owner is great and so helpful. I've gotten so many compliments on the clothes I"ve bought here. You can't go wrong!

Independant and interesting

This place is a great resource. The sell some things that are beyond cool and on the cutting edge of any trend, and some things that are so far over they are ugly as heck. But even the ugly stuff is designed and made by a local, independant thinking designer. THis is the best place to patronize local artists with your clothing dollars. Another plus, their next door neighbor (Luxe de Ville) is a great vintage store with some fantastic designs by the owner.

• Pros: Not the mall, artistic, friendly
• Cons: eclectic, limited selection

Sirens & Sailors was a great find. We need a boutique shop like this in the city...the malls all have the same shops, same clothes, same, same same. Boring! We needed something fresh and new and this is perfect.
