HORRIBLE Customer Service

I have been going to this office for the past 6 years. I have had many procedures done there and spent a LOT of money. However, over the last couple of years the customer service has progressively gotten worse. I was put on hold for 10 minutes today before even speaking to a live person. Then I was put on hold another 10 minutes to check my chart. To be on hold for 20 minutes is ridiculous. On my last visit I was left to sit in the waiting room 15 minutes PAST my appointment time (having shown up 15 minutes prior) because the two inexperienced girls working the front desk found an office error in my record and left me to wait while they figured it out. Finally, I was brought in the back to discuss the matter with the office manager, Peggy, who was very professional. She advised me the girls at the front desk were new. The matter appeared to be cleared up.

Getting back to today's call, the same "error" reared it's ugly head and I was told that I didn't have any more services on my package. I mentioned my conversation with Peggy, the office manager, and was told she no longer works there. Therefore, I have to go through the "research" process again. When I asked for my money back, as I didn't want to deal with the situation any longer, I was told it was a "free" service by Erin L.(who deals with billing). If it's a "free" service that came with my $1000 package, why am I getting all this grief. On another day, I was 5 minutes late to my appointment and they actually stamped in red ink "LATE" on my record. I guess it's okay for them to make you wait but don't you even think of it! Needless to say, I've had enough. The service just isn't what it use to be and there are too many dermatologists who provide the same service with a smile.

Terrible Customer Service

I have been there for mole checks, acne maintenance, products, etc. and everytime have had a different doctor that is fresh out of college. The office girls are rude and I have yet to see any of them smile. They treat you like a number and don't care to get to know you OR your skin issues. The cosmetic counter was 25% over regular prices, and the women there freak me out because they look like they've been practicing collagen injections on their own faces...they look like ducks, seriously! No way would I have any fillers done there! I am going to change to another derm TOMORROW!!!!

horrible horrible horrible...stay away!

this is a terrible practice. when i went to see dr. raskin he did not impress me even though he had been recommended by a friend. not friendly, poor bedside manner. then my poor husband went to see dr. kormelli- he said she was the worse dr he'd ever seen. he had a serious infection on his hand and she barely examined it, cut him off when he spoke, was rude and completely uncaring. go anywhere else but here, even if you have to drive!

I myseslf do not care for Dr. Raskin, a girlfriend of mine has her own very good yet very personal reasons for discouraging going to him and I have my own personal reason. Bottom line is that it is a nice office the girls behind the cosmetic counter are very nice and helpful and yes pushy and the products such as Skin Medica TNS recovery complex is over priced, great product but in the Doctors office you pay more for convenience I suppose. I went in to them a few times, I went in for the botox party the first time I tried botox and one thing I did not like is that the girls put the shots into your face, not the doctor...also they have a special discounted rate and I felt they did not use as much as other doctors use thereby cutting the costs but also means that you have to come back 2-3 months sooner for more shots. I go to a Doctor now in Valencia who uses an entire 10 units per side = 20 units total and it costs maybe $40. more then Raskins office but it lasts 6 - 7 months for me and only the Doctor himself puts the shots into my face I prefer it that way...no assistants messin with my face...it's still a commodity at this point, LOL... Raskin's office however, is not much of one. Mostly disappointing but if your lookin for a party it wasn't bad for my first botox visit but I dont go there anymore for anything. They do have a good selection of skin care products and laser treatments I will say that much for them and the girls are friendly.

Steer clear

This place only wants your money. It's ridiculous. I went in there with a serious skin problem & the entire time the doctor was trying to push cosmetic services on me. Boosting about their botox parties or some special party they have there. I was beside myself. I not only felt worse about my appearance when I left but I was annoyed by them not caring to fix my problem & only caring on how they could make money off of me. It was rather disheartening. To top it off they charged me more than they first quoted!
