THE BEST PIZZA!!!!! NOT ONLY IN MALIBU BUT IN ALL OF LOS ANGELES

by majorfun at Citysearch

This pizza is the best pizza I have ever had. The thin crispy crust and their fresh ingredients made my D'Amore's Pizza experience a pleasurable one. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

The staff was great and if your lucky you might run into the owner or one of his lovely family members.

I love the cheese pizza along with the PIZZA BIANCO and the GRILLED VEGETARIAN.

I went to the malibu location on a beautiful sunny Sunday and the owner was there and told me about the history of his recipe and how he is able to keep it the same fresh and excellent pie that you get every single time.

Next time your in the BU be sure to check out a slice of HEAVEN!!!!

Terrific Pizza

by btres at Citysearch

I was in Malibu for business and wanted a good fast meal. I stopped at D'Amores and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was prepared quickly and was excellent. I need to watch my weight and was surprised to find that a pizza could be that good and still be a healthy food. I also had a chopped salid which was also excellent. I will definitely stop at D'Amores the next time I am in Malibu

  • Pros: Excellent Tast, Healthy, Good Value

D'Amore's Pizza imports sodium-free water from Massachusetts to create the most original Boston style crust around.

by Contributor at Citysearch

In Short
In an attempt to re-create the pizzas he grew up eating, East Coast transplant Joe D'Amore established this local chain of restaurants in 1972. Today, well-heeled diners scarf down casual Italian classics such as baked ziti, eggplant parmigiana and signature thin-crust pizzas. Pies are sculpted with cornmeal dough, olive oil and "special" water shipped in from Massachusetts. Popular orders include the tomato sauce-free Pizza Bianco, grilled vegetable pizza and the substantial Meat Lover's Special.

bad food, poor service,

by bulocal at Citysearch

Pizza had a reputation for being good, placed order for for party day in advance, never filled and then the pizzas that were made after the fact contained a pubic hair in the first pizza out of the box. complained to the owner but was treated with east coast rudeness and nothing was done. Do not eat there.

Awesome pizza, but rather pricey for some dough and cheese... Any time I have some extra cash for good pizza this is where I go.

  • Pros: Great pizza
  • Cons: expensive

This pizza is better then any pizza in the USA

by nomofo at Citysearch

If you are looking for the very best pizza anywhere, go to D'Amores! They inport the water for the dough from Boston. Any company that will go to that expense knows what makes good pizza and they do! We eat there very often because it is so good. The service is fantastic, the employees are great and I would recommend it above any pizza I have ever eaten! The reviewer that said he got a bad stomach from eating there probably had breakfast at home and that is what made him sick, not this pizza! It is the best!

If you want stomach cramps- come here!

by chowhound666 at Citysearch

Rude service- got the bad duque afterwards- yikes! The employee barely spoke english and I had to repeat myself 100 times. Finally got the pizza- and it actually tasted pretty good- but about an hour later had a bad case of the poos- thats no good. I would avoid- unless you happen to carry Imodium AD with you!

  • Pros: cheap- tasted good
  • Cons: stomach cramps afterwards
