Buttermilk Bars?

Is this the same place that in the late 70's made the BEST buttermilk bars? I remember going late night when they were fresh out of the fryer.

Strawberry Doughnuts... I rest my case your honor.
Holy moly I don't think they can make a bad doughnut here. It's funny to see that they're building a Gym right nextdoor...is that a hint?
Bear Claws and Apple Fritters the size of your head...Chocolate and Maple bars are a foot long.
Even the donut holes are big.
FYI - No seating, which is not big deal, you'll finish your doughnuts before you reach your car.
Dear God, please grant the donut man an unnaturally long life for all the good he's brought into this world.
- Pros: The Strawberry donut at $2.50 is a meal in itself.
- Cons: Closed on New Year's Day & Christmas...let's work on that.
Try it once, you'll never want to eat any other donut.

I saw a little review in the Triple A magazine a few months ago. Finally, my wife and I decided to go take a drive to Donut man. As we pulled up , looks like your standard mom and pop donut shop. We walked up to the window and immediately were greeted by the cashier and saw all the diffrent types of donuts through the window. We ordered 1 fresh peach donut and 1 Bavarian creme donut. Mann was it heaven. It was so good, Beats Krisy creme hands down. Try it once and you wont regret it. Next time cant wait to try the Fresh strawberry donut (when in Season).
- Pros: best donuts ever
- Cons: wish they were so bad for you.
Huge, homemade seasonal doughnuts--strawberry in spring, peach come fall--beckon SoCal sugar addicts from near and far.

In Short
This cash-only doughnut stand draws legions of suburbanites, softball teams and college kids to a stretch of old Route 66. Assembled before patrons' eyes, warm glazed doughnuts are split open and heaped with mounds of locally grown strawberries or peaches, dripping with a glaze made from their own juices. Simple cake doughnuts with rainbow sprinkles have a nutmeg zing, and cinnamon rolls have a buttery, sugary crunch.
Fresh fruit-filled donuts!

Their strawberry donuts are the best; they use real fruit! They're a bit pricey but WELL worth it. I'd come more often if it weren't so unhealthy.
Best Donuts!!

OK, so maybe the donuts are a little more expensive than your average Krispy Kreme retailer, but this store's got something that others don't: unbeatable quality, fantastic service, and neary sinful strawberry/peach donuts! I've tried a little bite of these masterpieces (real fruit!) and have even seen the poor cashier slave over making dozens of these, as there was a huge line behind me! I mean, WOW. Great service (the guy even remembered my name), excellent donuts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND? Definitely.
- Pros: quality! , 24/7, service
- Cons: a little expensive
Sinfully Delicious!

I read the review of the Donut Man in AAA's Westways magazine on Thursday and was devouring a delicious strawberry filled donut on Friday night! The donuts, service, and prices are amazing. My boyfriend and I ordered 4 strawberry filled along with several others and the cashier was so nice she asked if we were eating them tonight or saving them for tomorrow...she put the strawberries in a separate container so that the donuts would not get soggy. The chocolate dipped cake donuts and the tiger tails were stupendous! They even offered to make a fresh dipped donut right there for me. I will be a regular from now on...yikes there goes the diet! But it is worth it! So I'll be on the treadmill an extra 2 hours! ha ha! Thanks Donut Man for delivering a little piece of heaven so close to home!
- Pros: taste, freshness, prices are low, service was great
- Cons: not close enough, to my home
Not as good as I thought it was going to be
by tcheese at Citysearch
The donuts were not fresh at all. They tasted like they had been out for a long time and were really cold. The service was also horrible.
- Pros: Open Late
- Cons: Rude
