Occasionally I see folks at Johnnys getting a burger or hot dog, and I've even tried the chili which is quite nice and perfect over fries, but the pastrami is the thing here. Service is simple and so darn fast it makes your head swim. Also, enjoy your bowl of pickles!

The pastrami is excellent here.
Great fast service. I totally recommend it!
They put a whole lot of pastrami on the sandwich and you could share one sandwich between two people.

I just discovered Johnny Pastrami on Adams and I'm lovin it! I come all the way from Downey for what Johnnys is selling. The only complaint would be the food servers who need a course in customer service. Very bad attitudes with a side of cattiness, meow!!
- Pros: Open 24 hrs.
- Cons: Bad attitudes
Pastrami like you'd get back home in the old neighborhood by A R. at InsiderPages

You can't find pastrami this good just anywhere. You can't even find pastrami this good at most good delis. I'm talking tender, flavorful, melts in your mouth, perfectly complimented by spicy, tangy deli mustard, and served in a real diner atmosphere on delicious buns or rye bread pastrami. Do I need to elaborate?

johnny's pastrami is great!! The service is pretty fast. You get plenty of meat in your sandwich. The location is bad, so try to phone order in(if they are too busy they won't take phone orders) The waitresses can be crabby, but the will hook you up with great food. Johnny's is great for after a concert or theater
- Pros: great food, lots of meat , 24 hours
- Cons: location, crabby waitresses
