Intimate and Comfortable with Excellent Service

by midge150 at Citysearch

The staff could not do enough to cater to our every whim. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the food is amazing!! The hotel itself has a very European feel and it is a great alternative to larger less personal hotels.

  • Pros: Service, Comfort, Decor

Fantastic Business-Class Hotel

by dmenkes at Citysearch

I was attending a movie premiere in Hollywood and wanted to live it up locally. My car had broken down so when I'd arrived using my brother's junker, the concierge understood immediately why I was asking him for a rental car. I had just 30 minutes to get ready and pick my girlfriend up from the airport and the staff came through! Just when I needed to leave, the rental car was ready and waiting. I had requested the Romance Package and specified a time much later in the evening for the room preparations. When we returned, there were rose petals on the bed, ice-chilled champagne and cheeses waiting for us. We felt pampered. We also had breakfast the next morning which was a tad on the light side but healthy. The room was perfect. One thing that would've been nice would be to have a pool. There was a sauna or spa or something upstairs but we didn't check it out. We were under the impression there was a pool on the roof as there's a picture of something that resembles a pool on their website, but I guess not.

best night of sleep in my life

by greymouse26 at Citysearch

We purchased the romance package for the evening and let me say, it was definately that. When we returned from our evening, there were rose petals on the bed, the lights were dimmed down low, and some champagne chilled in a bucket and a cheese platter awaited us. The room was like a mini condo. It came equipped with a mini kitchen. The bed was amazing; I wanted to take it home with me. Also, the package came with a mini breakfast (I think it was a bit small). Definately a place for a mini romantic getaway close to home.

  • Pros: bed, romantic atmosphere in room
  • Cons: no pool; tub was too small

A chic refuge in Burbank's slightly less than chic shopping district.

The Scene
Located in a residential neighborhood two blocks from Warner Brothers and across the street from Warner Ranch, this hotel offers a pleasant surprise--boutique attitude and a sleek, contemporary refuge in the Valley.

The Details
Once inside, guests are greeted by neutral tones, clean, sophisticated lines and a friendly staff. Guest rooms feature high concept, contemporary interiors reminiscent of the W chain of hotels, with a gray and beige color palette. First-floor rooms have patios, and all feature complimentary high-speed Internet access. There's also free wireless access in the common areas. Mountain views are nice on clear days from the rooftop Jacuzzi and bar, which can become quite a scene on weekend nights.

Comfy

by Drifting at Citysearch

A nice escape from the busier upscale hotels around LA. Every member of the staff was helpful and friendly. Booked the Universal rate which included tickets to Universal Studios, two queen size beds, and a wet bar with stove and microwave. The beds were the most comfortable beds that I've slept in. Everything was very clean, new, and high quality. Loved the room so much, we barely left it. Ordered room service that was quick and tasty. When visiting LA, save yourself the hassle of traffic- fly into Burbank Airport and try out the Graciela.

  • Pros: Quiet, Friendly staff, Super comfy beds
  • Cons: $15 valet parking

The Best in Burbank

by sdwilliamson at Citysearch

My wife and I were excited about our stay at the Graciela Burbank because we had heard such wonderful things about it. We travel quite a bit and have stayed in many nice places including Ritz Carltons, but we both agreed that the Graciela was our favorite. The staff is so very helpful and the rooms are quite spacious. But our favorite part was the bed. It was so comfortable that we had a tough time getting ourselves out of it. The bar is fabulous and has a plasma tv. The shuttle service (which is a brand new suburban) took us to and from many of the local attractions including Universal City Walk. When we return to the L.A. area there is no doubt that we will stay at the Graciela.

  • Pros: Bed, Bar, People

Great Hotel

by MicheleMoss_Citysearch at Citysearch

As a promotional package, the Graciela was offering a convertible Mercedes with a stay in their deluxe rooms. So, for my husbands birthday, we stayed in the hotel for the night and had a great time driving around town in a swanky ride. The staff was absolutely amazingthey sent up complimentary champagne, recommended a nearby restaurant for dinner and had reservations and driving directions ready for us when we were on our way out. Ive never encountered such a warm and helpful staff in any other hotel. The rooms are gorgeous and seem perfect for the business traveler. Theres internet access, desks, a DVD and CD player, and cable TV. They also have a continental breakfast buffet in the morning. The only complaint I have is that the Jacuzzi was more of a luke-warm tub than a hot tub.

  • Pros: Fabulous Staff, Lovely rooms, Package deals
  • Cons: Hot tub wasn't hot

*5-star quality*

I almost passed by this hotel thinking it was a new "upscale" condominium!!! I was blown away by the decor, service and hospitality. The bed.......absolute heaven.

If you want "high class" with a peaceful night sleep away from the hussle-bussle-nightlife of "LA" please don't pass this one up!! The only thing missing is a pool.
