Unreliable Reservations

I cannot speak for the food, but I am very disappointed with the reservations and service. I made a reservation ahead of time for a birthday party of 14 people and The Spanish Kitchen called me back a week later to tell me that they were cancelling my reservation. I was left in terrible position because I was forced to find another restaurant and notify 14 people of the change. The restaurant got great reviews and I am not discouraging anyone from going there---just warning against making an event reservation with them.

understaffed & overpriced

the ambience is very cute but we (only a party of 2) waited at least 15 min to be greeted by our waitress and an additional 20 min to get our drinks and order our food and almost an additional hour for our food to arrive! i think they are understaffed but we did see a lot of workers just standing around...dissapointing. there are a lot of other places i'd rather give our $$$ to.

• Cons: slow service, smoking patio 2 close
