Great food and friendly service
by rsk11 at Citysearch
People have been telling me to check out The Spanish Kitchen for a while and I finally did. The food was really good! I had the lobster crepe as an appetizer and then the spicy pineapple salmon. Their drinks were strong, in a great way. Our server was very attentive and helpful for us being there for the first time. I will gladly go back again and again.
Love it!

Great food, friendly staff, great value. This is a nice place to go for some good food. The food is great and not over priced for its quality. I eat there almost twice a week ever since I moved to West Hollywood.
- Pros: Great food, great value
- Cons: None
Best Sangria in L.A.
by faithlee at Citysearch
This restaurant has the best Sangria in L.A.! This place also has great tapas. The service is fast and the ambiance is nice. Highly recommended!
- Pros: Great overall experience.
- Cons: Parking is tough unless you valet.

Spicy -- in the good sense
by jericsmall at Citysearch
The Spanish Kitchen is one of my favorite "repeat" restaurants, especially as I love the seasonings and the garnishes around the great main entree. The Sweet Potato Crusted Salmon is my favorite. And I love that they have the fried ice cream.
- Pros: Dark enough for dates
- Cons: Some of the tables are strangely boxed in
Great Mexican Gourmet, Lovely Atmosphere
by ashinfashion at Citysearch
We were there for Cinco De Mayo and it seemed really hectic and busy but the friendy hostesses sat us right when we came in. The service was surprisingly fast, the server was really helpful with recommendations. We had brought friends from out of town who thought the Salmon was AMAZING and made us promise to take them to the Spanish Kitchen again next time they were in town. I liked the fajitas, it may be pricey but you get such a large meal it's worth every penny. The atmosphere was great, lots of colorful candles and mexican decor that added to the experience. Oh and lets not forget the margaritas!! delish!!!!
I really recommend this place if you want a good meal and a social atmosphere!
- Pros: Service, Atmosphere, Margaritas
- Cons: NO PARKING!
MOST BEAUTIFUL BARTENDERS IN TOWN
by maggsdodger at Citysearch
I went in on a busy Friday night with a group and had a blast. The Bartenders were fast, attentive and they made the most incredible drinks. I ask this green eyed beauty to make me a different margarita and she made the tastiest drink I've ever had. It was fabulous. I would also recommend the Mojitos. The music was a little loud but it was later in the evening. The price was not bad either. I would highly recommend this place.
- Pros: Service, Food, Drinks
- Cons: Parking, Restroom facilities
Great atmosphere, good food

The name may be misleading, but don't let that stop you from getting tasty Mexican style cuisine. Definitely go on a Monday and enjoy their Enchilada Monday's special. Most recommend their Mojito's, don't get me wrong they're good and all, but not my favorite. Wait staff have always been friendly in this beautiful and recommend restaurant.
- Pros: Good food, great decor and ambience
- Cons: A little pricey for what you get, almost have to use valet

Great place for a fun night out!
by diana91583 at Citysearch
I don't know why Spanish Kitchen is given such negative reviews -- the food is delicious, the servers are courteous and give great recommendations (not typical of most Hollywood hot spots), the sangria is STRONG, and the atmosphere is delightful! The enchiladas de suizas are amazing, as is the chicken taquito appetizer, and the red snapper dish is to die for! I have never had a bad experience here! Definitely give it a try if you have a large group and are looking for a fun and tasty dining experience!
- Pros: Food, Service, Ambience
- Cons: $8 chips & salsa
Good Birthday Pick
by erinhfox at Citysearch
I went to celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend. Great service (although it was a holiday weekend and a little less crowded for than friday than usual). The food was really good and the pitcher of Sangria was plentiul. I recommend sitting in the heated courtyard if you are a small party because it is much noisier inside.
- Pros: Fun ambience, Yummy Food, Great service
- Cons: Noisy and dark inside, Slow Valet service, Not cheap
