I can recommend Myke as a caring and skillful practitioner who is always seeking the best solutions for his clients. I had a hypnosis session with him and was impressed. Will work with him again. After reading all the reviews I also will make an appointment for a massage session!

A Truly Amazing Experience

From the moment you enter Zykoff Bodywork & Hypnotherapy you can tell you are in for a very special healing experience. The atmosphere is so soothing and calming that before you even reach the massage table you already feel more at ease. Not to mention the care and attention Chris takes before even beginning to get to know you and address your specific needs and concerns. I felt like I was in the best hands before the hands were even on me. Chris makes a point of working with you the client in a shared experience and he and your body begin a dialogue of healing. I have never before been so relaxed and present in a massage session and I know it is because of the atmosphere that Chris creates. He has an uncanny way of communicating with your body. I always thought that I needed really rough deep massage to get at the heart of my body pain and injuries, but after working with Chris I have a new understanding about what a good healing massage is actually like. During my massage and even after I had a new awareness of my body and the places where I have stored up emotion or neglected it. I felt the kind of release and relaxation I have been looking for for years. I know after continued work with Chris I would be in the best shape of my life. This is something that everyone should do for their well being.

Let me start by saying that I NEVER write reviews, but after having a session with Chris at Zykoff Bodywork & Hypnotherapy I felt it was necessary.

I've had lots of massages over the years, but I have never experienced someone as intuitive as Chris.

He took the time before the massage even began to verbally find out what it was that I needed, rather than just reading some form and going from there. He addressed all of my problem areas and as new things arose during the session, he was quick to shift his attention and help resolve those.

The atmosphere is warm and relaxing--the rest of the world faded away for the brief time I spent there.

I will definitely be going back soon.

my healing sanctuary

Whether you are on a quest for healing bodywork or even just a simple relaxation massage this is the place to go.

I have lived in LA my entire life and have never found a sanctuary quite like Zykoff Bodywork.

Chris has literally helped change my life. In the few sessions we have had, I have felt amazing amounts of stagnant energy move and have released years of pain and stress. I feel more comfortable on the massage table than anywhere else. It is a space where I can laugh and cry without judgment, where I can tap into old emotions and allow them to process thanks to Chris's guidance.

Best Massage Ever!!! Myke has Healing Hands and Heart!!!!

From my first session with Myke Zykoff it was evident I was in the presence of a true healer who was a massage therapist for all the right reasons. My massage was absolutely amazing!!! There is no comparison to the exceptional and professional service he provided from the moment I booked my appointment until I "floated" out of his peaceful and serene office. He was patient, had a genuine interest in my health, well-being and even took the time to educate me on how I could create more balance in my body. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ZYKOFF BODYWORK!!!!

Cozy and serene atmosphere. Great experience!

For my 40th birthday, I received a gift certificate for a massage at Zykoff Bodywork from one of my best friends. I love massages and couldn't wait to book my appointment. I thought what could be better than spending a Friday afternoon feeling pampered...no phones, no emails and definitely no boss anywhere in sight. Ahh, just total relaxation and not a care in the world!

Upon entering his studio for the first time, Myke made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was serene and soothing. Myke spent a lot of time talking with me before my massage to gain a better understanding of the areas where I was feeling the most tension and what needed immediate attention. As a result I felt the massage was tailored just for me and was very healing as well.

I have TMJ and Plantar Fasciitis and Myke knew just the right amount of pressure to apply so that I could get instant relief.

What a great way to unwind from the everyday stresses. Thanks Myke!

Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review of your experience. When it comes to relieving discomforts from the body, any additional trauma (ie: excessive "deep tissue" work) will only reinforce a chronic condition. The results you experienced from our session was due to the communication with your muscles; listening to when they say they're receiving enough pressure to interrupt the holding pattern. I'm happy to have been part of your happy birthday! MZ

Relaxing Massage by someone who knows where your stress is

I was given a certificate to see Myke for a birthday gift by someone who thought I needed some tension relief. I was able to talk to Myke before starting my massage. He wanted to know where the tension was rooted and how this could be avoided before. I like the idea of prevention instead of always thinking of treatment. I could tell that he genuinely cared and that was very comforting. I would definitely recommend this place to someone who wants to feel better and is seeking a balance. He has a warm and sincere presence which is uncommon in these areas.

(Thanks for the long talk. It really helped me a great deal.)

The best we can do for our beings is to give them the healthy attention they deserve... every day. Massage therapy, on a regular basis, keeps us tuned in to what's going on with our bodies, BEFORE something minor can begin something MAJOR. What's most helpful to a healing session is that you, the client, gets to express what's most important to you, in an open and non-judgemental setting.
