I searched for years to find a "go to" massage therapist in LA - and I've finally found it here! Pain gone - life improved!

My brother had some body work done by Myke a couple of weeks ago and he recommended that I too, see Myke. I'm really glad I did. I've had a lot of body work done over the years and have had some real wing-dingers for therapists, places where they tell you to "hop up on the table" and then go at your spine with their pointy elbows digging in between the vertebra. Myke is truly a professional care giver-he talks with you about what you're feeling and what you need or what has been on your mind lately, what aches and pains or issues you might have, and then he custom tailors a message session that takes care of your personal needs and wants. He really listens to what you say, and as he's working on your body, you can tell that he took into account all that you both had discussed and he makes it a priority to address those areas, gently coaxing your body into a deep state of relaxation, never forcing it. By the end of the session I truly felt balanced and re-energized, but in a totally relaxed and zen state of energy. I was at Myke's studio a week ago and I'm still enjoying the after-effects. His studio is very peaceful and uplifting. It's clean and cozy and puts the mind at ease and stillness, allowing the body to follow suit. Myke will call you back in a couple days to check in and see how you're feeling and if you have any questions or concerns, which I find to be wonderfully attentive. No other massage therapist has done that for me! I suggest you go visit Myke if you want a personalized and attentive body work session. Your body deserves it. So does your mind! It's more than worth it.

For the past ~15 years, the tension in my neck and shoulders has been so bad that I have felt like I needed a massage constantly. I also tried all the different methods for relief- chiropractor, different body work places, massage chairs, physical therapy, yoga. Each one of those did not relieve the tension for very long and I was constantly stretching or moving around to adjust around the pain. Well, I went on citysearch just to see what new places were out there, found that Myke was rated as number one, read over his website, and booked an appointment. Just talking to him made me feel relieved since he understood what I was feeling and his work guided me to a pain free experience beyond what I had ever expected. It has been 7 days since my first session and my neck and shoulders did not bother me about 95% of the time over the last week. And with what I have learned from Myke, I was able to "talk" myself through the 5% of the time that I did feel tension! It's very interesting how we compensate for pain instead of going for the root cause. This is definitely how all body work should be done and I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Pros: parking was easy, peaceful atmosphere, individualized attention

I recently read about Myke on this site and he sounded like someone that might be able to help with both the chronic aches and pains I seem to always be having due to my work on the computer all day long, and for my other day-to-day stress and tensions. In my first session with him, he really took time to listen to what was going on with me. During the massage he quickly zeroed in on the areas that needed the most help. That particular week I was having a really bad ache in my shoulder. But the amazing thing was...I was almost completely pain free the following day! And I have remained so for several days since! What an incredible massage! And Myke couldn't have been nicer. I'm really looking forward to my future appointments!

I got a gift certificate to see Myke....I have been diagnosed with chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. Myke was amazing!!! Not only did he do thorough bodywork, but he also hypnotized me so my body would 'remember' what it was like to not be in pain. God Bless Myke, it worked!!! Now, 5 months later, I experience only a minimal amount of pain and only very infrequently. This is after only one session!! After being in severe pain all the time for over 2 years, and trying all sorts of different approaches including acupuncture, acupressure, chiropractors, kinesiology, physical therapy, massage therapy etc etc, the only thing I can think is that Myke is a real, true, talented healer. I may still be tired but I am almost completely pain free..... I would recommend that anyone in pain, or even with 'chronic' conditions such as my own go to see Myke immediately!! Myke is a really great person too. Thank you so very much Myke!!

I bid on a session in a silent auction at a fundraiser and really did not have high expectations. I had been very stressed with my career, house remodel, 3 kids and many other roles in life. I remembered my session certificate and realized that it had expired. I called anyway and Myke was gracious enough to honor the session. As a global traveler, I have had massages, bodywork, holistic body healing, wraps, spas, scrubs...you name it and I have experienced it; but the treatment I received from Myke steered me back to my center and enlivened my commitments and away from being pulled and haggled by my obligations. It was truly amazing and he is a gifted healer...I will be going back and getting the special package of multiple sessions. Not only is it great value for the price, it is an investment in your peace of mind. I highly recommend it!
Pros: Service, skill, positive energy, ambience

Myke is not just a masseur, he is a healer. From the moment he lays his hands on your tense and stressed out body you can feel the warmth, care, and healing wash over every cell. You would think such an experience would be very expensive but his pricing is so reasonable. In addition to all this the atmosphere is amazing. You feel like you are walking into sacred, quiet, oasis. The decor is relaxing, and the music lulls you in to a peaceful state. From the moment your walk through the door until the moment you leave it is an all around amazing experience!
Pros: Great atmosphere, service, and pricing
Cons: parking can be challenging

Myke is truely head and shoulders above the rest! I have been coming to Myke since he first started in the bodywork field and have seen him evolve over the years. He has always had a natural talent for relaxation, healing and creating a totally unique experiance every time. In the last few years, Myke has taken massage and bodywork to a whole new level...and now he even does hypnotherapy sessions too! He truely enjoys helping people, and it shows. When you are in his presents, you have his full attention. Myke is very professional and one of the most respectful people I have ever met. Anyone can rub muscles, but Myke adds value to your life in so many ways...he is very gifted and I highly recommend a series of sessions with Myke if you want possitive changes in you life.
Pros: Ambience, Service
Cons: There is only one of him!

I have been a client for at least 5 years and drive 20 miles each way for the experience Myke gives, I call it an experience more than a service. The experience has always been top shelf and beyond compare. I would sign up for at least a series of 5 sessions in order to get the full benefit of Myke's expertise. There is really nothing more to say other than you can really tell when someone enjoys and is committed to the service they are providing.
Pros: Expert practitoner
Cons: A drive but worth it
