I purchased a cake from Hansens Cakes and received a botched order, I honestly I don't know which is worse, the fact that Hansens botched up the order or the fact that they were extremely rude and unprofessional…I spoke with Patrick Hansen on the phone to see if he would refund my money (he seemed like he couldn’t care less how my cake came out, this guy owns the bakery, is this guy slow or something?), I was very specific as to how I wanted my cake, I made Cathy repeat my order over the phone to me twice and the cake still came out wrong. I had to bring in the cake (which I did) send photos via email AND wait and wait and wait for a response after “someone” reviewed the situation. I mean seriously this is utterly ridiculous, would they like me to donate a kindney too?? I'm glad I DID take pictures. This whole process is just anxiety not needed. My son's birthday cake had to be thrown away because the children there that couldn't eat strawberries. After reviewing all of the complaints on City Search, I see that these types of problems are a daily feature of Hansens Cakes. It seems like Hansens Cakes has no problem ruining everlasting memories!!
Cons: Terrible service!!!
