MMM cheese fries
by saira1123 at Citysearch
I love Islands! It's good when you feel like a greasy burger and fries! The cheese fries are my guilty pleasure, with a little bit of ranch mmmm. The burgers are consistently good too. I love the tacos as well (especially the fish ones). The service is usually great too and the atmosphere is great, relaxed and fun. I love to watch all the surf and snowboarding videos.
- Pros: Food
- Cons: It's not too healthy!

i ate here once after a wedding. haven't been to an islands in years. i always liked the burgers, greasy but good. fries were tasteless though, obviously frozen. onions rings were much better. service was good and friendly, but we were the only customers at 11am on a sunday!
- Pros: tasty burger, onions rings
- Cons: fries were frozen and reheated

The place is always friendly to our family. Everyone of my boys always finds something good to eat from their extensive menu. And I am talking teenage appetites here! Come on down and enjoy the good eats here at Islands and you won't be disappointed!
- Pros: Always good food
- Cons: Sometimes theri is a long wait
The Best Fries
by zayra at Citysearch
It's all about the french fries. They are cut with the skin left on, each french fry is different (like snowflakes!!) and each one is a delight to bite into. If you're feeling really decadent, you can get a side of honey mustard dressing (creamy one) and you are in potato heaven! The burgers are ok, to me it's really all about the fries.
very good burgers, no matter which location

Good atmosphere, staff members always friendly (but not in-your-face, have-a-great-time-or-else obnoxious liek some other palces), good speacialty burgers.
- Cons: can get busy at times
If Gilligan opened a burger joint, this would be it.

The Scene
With thatched umbrellas, photos of crashing waves, stuffed toucans and a soundtrack of twangy '60s surf-rock, it doesn't take a genius to figure out this chain's theme. Yep, it's beach, burgers and plenty of kitsch. The jovial atmosphere and service (not to mention a full-service bar) lures lunching business folk, beer-drinking college students and families with food-throwing toddlers.
The Food
Like the decor, the menu is a no-brainer--sandwiches, salads, fries and burgers. Served in a basket with fork and knife, thick beef patties come grilled to order with lettuce, tomato and any variety of extras. For a lighter bite, try one of the soft tacos. Filled with either fish or chicken, the wraps are inauthentic, but tasty. Yaki tacos are stuffed with teriyaki chicken, chives, pineapple and jack cheese. Whatever you order, don't forget the fries. These hand-cut, super-crispy sticks are addicting, especially when dipped in creamy ranch dressing.
