I have been to tons of spas in LA... Ole Henrikson, Spoiled etc... Thie place is by far the BEST!!! I had the signature facial with Rebecca. She was wonderful. She addressed all my concerns and gave me the most wonderful facial...my skin has never looked better.

From the moment I walked through the doors of Skin Haven, I immediately felt like I was on Cloud 9. As soon as I took a whiff of the wonderful scents that permeate the spa, I knew it was time for my mind to shut off (in a good way), to relax, unwind, and leave my worries at the door. I put on my cozy spa socks and was directed to the spa lounge (the comfy, quiet, zen waiting room that everyone wishes they had in their own home). Before long, spa owner, Sharon Ronen, came to whisk me away and take me into one of the treatment rooms for my facial. Prior to starting the treatment, Sharon asked if I had any questions or concerns. I told that her since I was going out later that night, I was slightly worried about having red marks on my face from the blackhead extraction, which I knew was an undoubtedly necessary part of the treatment. Sharon assured me that if the extraction is done at the right time during the treatment (after the skin has been appropriately prepped), there should be no red marks. She went on to say that most of her clients leave the treatment room looking better than they did when they came in. She promised no red marks and she was absolutely right! The treatment was incredible. Sharon’s warm and tender touch was incredibly healing. I don't remember the last time I felt taken care of like that. Everything from the warm bed to the warm towels to the amazing aromas of the products to the wonderfully relaxing massage was just perfect! I was so relaxed, I almost fell asleep during the treatment. After the facial, my skin no longer looked dull and dry. It had a nice, shiny glow. And, I felt like a whole new person. Thank you Sharon and thanks Skin Haven for an incredible experience!

WOW, this place is everything you could possibly ask for and more! I had such a stellar experience here and would highly recommend Skin Haven to anyone looking for a comfortable, lovely place to have any kind of treatments. I did their "It Takes Two" couples package with my boyfriend and it was an incredible day. They even provided glasses for us to drink champagne between treatments. What a treat. They thought of everything we would want and anticipated our needs, even down to details like having the therapist leave us a delicious chocolate after our treatments. My facial, massage, and body treatment were all perfect, smelled amazing, and left me feeling relaxed and my skin feeling amazing. I didn't need to shower away a bunch of extra oil--in fact I wanted to leave all the wonderful stuff on my skin so I could continue to smell it. They even sent me home with some of the oil they used, and the herb pouches from my body treatment, so I could use them in my bath at home. Fabulous. We loved our soft robes and bought a pair to take home with us, along with their amazing spa socks. Each therapist was so nice and really tailored the treatments for our specific needs and requests. They used hot towels during the massage which felt great and really relaxed me into a dreamy state. My boyfriend loved the hot stone massage and absolutely loved his (first) facial. The lounge is really comfortable and we had the best day together, with the help of the staff at Skin Haven. We also loved the tea and snacks in the lounge, and already booked appointments for Valentine's Day weekend. Can't wait to go back! We will definitely make this a monthly ritual. They even have a private parking lot, which is a major help in this city. This place is absolutely perfect!!

I've been going here for almost 2 years after finding them on Citysearch when I moved to LA and this place is everything a day spa should be: friendly, cozy, relaxing, and customer-service oriented. I tried several places before finding them so when I finally got here I really felt the difference the moment I walked in the front door. The manager Melody is really helpful and sweet, and every therapist I have had here has been warm, friendly, caring, and extremely skilled at their job. The atmosphere is so beautiful and upscale without feeling uptight. It always smells amazing when I walk in the door, and their attention to detail is spectacular. Everything from decor to merchandise to snack offerings and artwork is spot-on and they change things regularly to keep it fresh and seasonal. Treatment offerings vary seasonally as well which is great. I often try their monthly special treatment package (sign up for their monthly eblast!) which offers reduced rates on bundled treatments, and everything I've tried has been wonderful. They really do care about each client and it shows throughout each experience I've had here. I've gotten fantastic skin care tips, product recommendations, and even personalized stretching exercises from the therapists here and all have been very thoughtful and helpful. I've brought friends here, given gift certificates (they now have instant GC's on their web site which is great), and hosted a spa party and everyone I have introduced to Skin Haven has loved it from the moment they arrived. If you are a detail-oriented person you will truly appreciated how much thought they have put into every aspect of this place. They are also very hygiene conscious--no double dipping in the wax here, ever! They ditched the communal jacuzzi in favor of their gorgeous "Zen Lounge" which is like the room you wish you had at home to relax in. This place is truly a haven from my stressful busy life and I am so thrilled to have found them.

I've had a massage there and a facial. They are very attentive. Once you enter the front door you feel like you've escaped the city. It's one of the best spas in Los Angeles I've been to!

From the moment you walk in, the world drifts away. A professional, warm greeting, an offer of solitude while you wait for your treatment (depends on how early you arrive! If you're there on time, it's a matter of moments!) and then you are escorted into a beautiful, quiet oasis with a professional, personable technician. If it's your first time for that particular treatment, it's explained thoroughly and then you're allowed to quietly enjoy your massage or scrub or wrap or whatever you're there for! The location is easy to get to, it's quiet, inviting, and has the feel of any 5 star resort spa. I have enjoyed the Montage, Aviara, Kahala and many others, and I must say, Skin Haven has impressed me!

Pros: Wonderful!

The spa was very welcoming. You go in, you take off your shoes, change into socks, and are shown into the waiting room where there are snacks and tea for your enjoyment. Shortly thereafter, you are received by your therapist who will take care of you. I had the organic body souffle, which included a full massage. At the end, not only were my muscles worked, but all the tension I had in my back had gone away.

Pros: calm atmosphere, tea and snacks in the waiting room

I tried this place out last week and it was just what i expected. At the very least it was much more enjoyable than my first facial at some little rinky dinky place. This place isnt huge but instead of say small I would definatly say it was cozy. My facialist knew what she was doing and my face has never looked better. Ill be back:)

Pros: service, skill

Cons: massages are a little pricey. Thats about it.

All my kinks are in the pink! I owe it all to the message therapists at Skin Haven. From entry to exit, my experiences (plural) at S.K. have been top notch. Am I the prefect spa critic? Probably not, however, I have traveled much of the U.S. and Europe and experienced many wonderful spas. Full body messages and facials are all I can comment on. The front desk staff is also very competent with regard to information on spa services and setting/confirming appointments. If you are looking for a pleasant experience in a neighborhood setting, you can’t go wrong with “The Haven” Skin Haven that is. Wish I lived closer!

I've tried several different spas and facialists, but Skin Haven is definitely the best. I've been going here since they opened and my skin has never looked so good. The staff is very friendly and really helpful. It's always a great experience when I go and I'm always really happy with the results.

Pros: great results; love their products

Cons: parking can be tight
