I am so sad to write a terrible review for this place - I really wanted to like it as it is within walking distance of my house! My girlfriend and I made appointments for eyelash extensions. First of all, they force you to pay gratuity in ADVANCE over the phone, as you book your appointment. This gave me pause, but I decided to go through with is as I'd read such good things about this place. My friend's appointment was at 1:30 and I was at 2:45. At 1:40, I got a call from the owner asking me where I was because she "wanted to fit in two people after" me. I told her my appointment was later and I was on my way, and she was very curt. She said "one of you was at 1:30." I called my friend to figure out what was going on - turns out my girlfriend had gotten there early for her appointment and they wanted to get me in early too so they could squeeze in more treatments after me. When I got there, I was herded into a treatment room. There are no robes, no spa amenities whatsoever. I was not offered a glass of water or even asked how I was doing! Now, my appointment lasted only 30 minutes, but we were interrupted TWICE by a woman coming into the treatment room and setting up new appointments while I was getting my extensions done. Don't they have an appointment book? Or couldn't the scheduling wait until my treatment was over?? I found this incredibly rude. I've never been interrupted during a spa treatment before. For over $300 for only 30 minutes of work, this place is wildly overpriced. They do not make you feel relaxed or comfortable at all. The emphasis seems to be on getting through as many people as they can in a day. Now I see why they force you to pay gratuity in advance - their service is so bad I would have given 5-10% at most had I actually been given a choice. My lashes turned out very nicely, but it was not worth the money. This place REALLY needs to work on customer service. I will not return and I will not recommend it to anybody I know.
Pros: treatment turned out very nicely
Cons: overpriced, terrible service, very limited parking

What a day at the day spa! I wanted to get away in the middle of my work week, it's been so busy and full of stress. I wanted to take a moment to myself , a getaway. I did. I booked a massage for myself on a lunch break ( long lunch) and it was heaven. The staff at Le Petite Retreat were amazing, what nice people. They made me feel so comoforted . I was worried about being "seen", but they assured me the way they pull back the covers, they can't "see" anything. I was at peace the whole time, what HEAVEN in the middle of the day! I am going to play hookie again for sure. It's the way to go. Thank you day spa! Kerin.
Pros: Everything was great
Cons: wish I could do it everyday

I went as a treat for my birthday. I had the Jade hot/cold stone massage, body scrub and herb bath. The 90 minute jade stone massage was pure heaven. I was a little concerned when they said they were going to use stones that had been in ice water but it was a great complement to the hot stones. The body scrub was great and my skin felt very soft after. The bath could have been skipped but it was part of the package. Also you don't get to pick what order your services are in and I would have perfered the body scrub before the massage but it won't stop me from going back. The spa is very nice and they provide a nice locker area with soap, shampoo and dryers, no need for you to bring anything extra. If you can't afford one of the package treatments, then save your money and go for the jade hot/code stone massage, it's worth every cent!
Pros: great stone massage
Cons: not able to select your service in the order you would like

I don't know how it's possible--but, after one massage with a therapist named Frank--I'm cured! I've been suffering from a frozen shoulder for months--and have seen several Doctor Recommended Physical Therapists with no great results. After weeks of painful exercises, I decided to to treat myself to a simple relaxing massage. Who knew I would discover a highly trained, well-versed therapist who would show concern, ask the right questions, and then 'fix' me! All the other stuff--beautiful ambience, private outdoor cabana, bubble-bath, champagne--was icing on this mulit-faceted cake--that delivers on so many levels. Now if I could just get my insurance to cover it-I'd really be in heaven! Hey, if they can cure my frozen shoulder with Massage--imagine what their Facials could do for my sagging face!!
Pros: Individualized Massage, Highly Trained Therapists, Calming Environment
Cons: You'll want to go everyday

I've been around the block for waxing (bikini) which is always a good or bad experience. This place marks the spot. Fast, and let's just say extremely effecient and detail oriented. The best I've every had. No bruising or redness. Lysa knows her stuff. As far as the lashes go - also the best. I have to say I look great and am proud of it. Great choice for the delicate areas of your body.
Pros: GREAT WAXING & LASHES

Had my eyelashes done and WOW WOW! It totally changed my entire face. The best part, I waited 6 weeks before I decided to write this review and I still have them on! I just wanted to make sure that they lasted before I wrote a review. Not only did they last but the mascara coating on them lasted too. I get so many compliments all the time. Booked another appointment for next month. I'm addicted!
Pros: Quality of Service, the fact that the lash extensions lasted

Had a very zen day here at Le Petite Retreat. Everyone there seemed happy and relaxed. My package I bought was delightful and what I really loved is that I was taken on time and everything just flowed magically. Thanks LPR for a wonderful experience.
Pros: Location, proximity to freeways

I've been to several spas and this one is really terrific. Peaceful and tranquil. The 90 minute couples Jade stone massage was out of this world. My troubles melted away. This place definetly gives you 5 star quality service. I didn't want to leave!
Pros: Service
Cons: nothing

Treatment was not what I had requested. The owner was very rude to me and my friends. I can see she makes a habit of this based on other reviews. I would not not recommend visting this spa. The experience is not pleasant.
Pros: Location
Cons: Service - terrible
