Bingo Night & drinks

I went to Hamburger Mary’s for their Wednesday Bingo night benefitting Shakepeare at Play. "Eat drink and be Mary!" is their befitting slogan with the bustle and pulse-pounding competitive game. I didn't win any of the prizes but loved their pink Livin Longtini and veggie wrap which was delicious! The prices were surprisingly low at $7 and $8.

• Pros: Fun party atmosphere on Bingo night. Great veggie wrap.

total dissapointment

The Service was excellent, our waitress was very good, she was attentive, checked on us regularly, refilled our drinks accordingly, but the food left us with no desire to return there for dinner, our hamburgers for which the restaurant (chain) is known for, were tasteless, both our burgers were awfull, so it was not a fluke, the fries were short of seasoning, the only thing that was on par with taste was our coca colas. For us both this was a shame, since the restaurant had nice decor, and excellent vibe, but for 13.00 dollar per plate, we expected more, very dissapointing, considering you could get a better burget at Mc Donalds of all places. i think its maybe the location, because ive been to other "HM" and i havent been dissapointed, so this one failed to live up to expectations of a good meal. i will never go eat there again, i should of demanded my money back, but i didnt. Im still bitter about the wasted money i spent eating there. i wouldnt recomment this place to anyone i know. "maybe drinks"

Horrible food, horrible drinks

Avoid this place. I drive by often and it looks lively, I like burgers, so figured what the hell. The prices are a joke for the quality of food. The burgers are about $17, which I have no problem paying if I'm getting a top notch burger, but not when I receive a grey, flavorless, overcooked, mess of a dish. The sweet potato fries were both soggy and cold. The buffalo burger had zero seasonings and was truly inedible. The martini was awful and the wine I ordered was clearly not the wine I was paying for, but was poured from out of a box and pawned off as a $12 glass of wine. All in all, an irritatingly bad dining experience, when there are so many great places nearby. Avoid at all costs.

good food, great drinks, best BINGO

The food is good and plentiful. We have always had decent service and this is the only place we will eat out with one of our friends who is so picky and annoying, because they bend over backward to bring out the food the way you ask for it and are friendly about it. But, the best reasons to go to Mary's are the drinks and the BINGO!!!! Everyone we have ever taken there for BINGO has had a GREAT time, BINGO is for everyone and it goes to a good cause. Also, we had an event there a couple years ago and the management was just super nice and helpful.

Huge hamburger, service too flamboyant (wink)

Went here a few years back. Really good burgers and large portions of fries. Its in West Hollywood so you know what to expect as far as ambience and service. Not my cup of tea as a realized afterwards but nice to try the food though. Apparently, Britney Spears had ate there the day before for lunch, but no stars were visible when I was there on Friday night.

Horrible Food, even worse Staff

This is the worst Marys i have ever been to, the food, well the food is to be expected. The Wait staff...the entire staff should be let go. Not only do the bitchy little twinks think they are too good to be doing their job. Its obvious that the only skill they have is sitting and looking pretty. Go find a sugar daddy and leave working for the rest of us who know what a good job is.

Worst service, waiter with attitude if you dont tip them

I used to be a regular customer my avarage tab was over $130.00, they the have the best margaritas, but the last time i was there, i spent over $130.00, as i was leaving, the waiter aproached me by side walk with my family and said i had not tip him enough?said the staff to be paid his from tips, what staff? we waited for table,we waited @ the bar,took our own drinks to the table, this the first time that i was aproached by waiter, not been happy with the tips,i will not return , worst kept secret on West Hollywood, with excellent service you could have had gotten away with lousy over priced confort food!!!

• Cons: bad service when waiter confronts you in front of your familym for not tippin to his liking.

Good Time

We stopped in on a whim Sunday afternoon. Place was busy but not packed. Service was great, everyone was friendly and sweet. Burgers and fries were good. had some interesting options on the menu. maybe we'll be more adventurous next time. They also had a pretty extensive martini menu that was awesome. I can see this place going off in the evenings and being really fun place for a group. Sit outside for great people watching.

Super friendly management!

Okay, this review may seem premature (and I've read the others at this site) but I think Hamburger Mary's is a GREAT PLACE and I'll tell you why: The female manager I talked to the day I visited two weeks ago was Very Friendly and I wonder if this is this "Candy" other reviewers are referring to in a most positive light is this manager whose name I've forgotten. I'm not sure. What I am sure of is this: if they hire me to work there I want to provide the same level of service she does and she sounds hard to beat. ;) I bet those Hamburgers of Mary's are pretty darn good too!

Just have fun!!!!!

Ok, nobody is claiming that it's the best food in town (by the way "icompoze2" with the bad review, what exactly is a "watered down dreak?" Have another.

But Mary's is fun!!! You go there for the atmosphere, not for gourmet cuisine. It's a great place to start the evening with some grub and cocktails before making your way to the bars! Cute boys, sweet servers (shot out to Jerry and Mel!), and lots of fun!
