I contacted CAM based on the reviews here. I had an old laptop that was running very slow and wanted someone to take a look at it. The tech who came out was very pleasant, but the result terribly poor. The tech ran a host of spyware programs (which given the speed of the computer ran extremely slowly). After two hours we agreed that it was not worth $100+ an hour for the tech to sit there while the last spyware program was run, especially since he was confident it would work. A few hours after he left the spyware program he installed was finished and rebooted the computer. Now as soon as the laptop logs in to windows it immediately logs out - thus the laptop is completely unuseable. When I called the tech to tell him of the problem he suggested I do a total reinstall of the hard drive. However, after doing some research (using the new laptop I purchased) I found this to be a rather common error that is caused by certain malware detection programs such as the one the tech ran on my computer. Unfortunately, I have still not been able to fix my laptop. So in the end I spent $200 for a tech to turn my slowly running laptop into one that will not even load windows!! Will not use this company again.

I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about using CAM because of 1 of the recent reviews, but I read the rest and decided to give them a chance. I'm glad I did. Since having CAM come in we have been able to network our 3 offices and get emails to my sales people in the field. All of which I have been trying to get done for over a year. Michael from CAM explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable moving forward. We have already closed a major new account by simply be more responsive to there emails. They have also got us going on the whole green movement. We now allow sales people to work from home and get more done without having to drive 2 hours a day on the freeway. All because of the small but important upgrades CAM helped us along with. I would recommend CAM without hesitation and encourage you too!

Based on the reviews on this site, I went to CAM to have them move some files from my C drive to my D drive to create more space in my C drive. To my horror, the tech accidentally deleted my entire outlook and did not bother to backup anything first. MY ENTIRE CONTACT LIST, MY CALENDAR WITH APPOINTMENTS, MY INDIVIDUAL FILES IN OUTLOOK, ETC. ARE NOW ALL GONE. They tried data recovery but couldn't get them back. Can you imagine my frustration to have so-called computer experts cause a problem like this? The tech was also supposed to drop off my laptop at my house at 8PM the next day (after he missed the first 10AM deadline) but he never showed and never called. I got a call the next morning from the CAM office informing me that would drop the laptop at my office in 10-15 minutes. I called and asked him to wait 15 minutes for me to get to the office but he refused to wait and left my laptop (now missing my important Outlook files) with my assistant. I think he was trying to avoid facing me. To make matters worse, the company is now spamming me! Today alone, I received 6 marketing emails from CAM newsletter. I normally don’t write reviews but everyday is like a nightmare trying to see if I missed an appointment or find contacts. This all happened because I went to CAM. I thought everyone should know.

Usually computer problems and downtime are a painful headache, but my call to CAM Technologies was the best decision I made with regard to my computer meltdown. Michael was fast, prompt and knowledgeable. He came in to check my system to be sure it was an environment-related issue, then took it into the shop and resolved the issue within a day. He dropped off the computer and had it up and running within a day. Their fees are reasonable and they don't nickel and dime you and their service is fast, responsive and professional. I will definitely use these guys again.

I have used many different services for help with computer problems. CAM is far superior to any. The consultant was more knowledgeable by a mile, more service-oriented by a mile, extremely honest, respectful, and concerned about meeting my needs as a consumer. He was patient with my questions, never made me feel stupid, and approached my computer problem as an interesting puzzle to solve for a valued client. It does not get any better than this.

We are a small-medium office and they are perfect for all of our needs! They have excellent friendly customer service. Very knowledgeable, and very patient when it comes to explaining things to a person with very little computer experience. Quick to return phone calls, even after hours. They have saved us in more then once! Great follow up also. I would recommend them to colleagues, friends and family!

In one word. AWESOME! CAM is the place to go for your service hands down! The other reviewers are right, these guys know there stuff. Saved my life and 10 years worth of photos and over $500 in Itunes! Usem these guys, I do!

I just got off the phone with these guys. I called with a really specific and abnormal issue on a custom build gaming machine. Instead of hauling my PC in and taking my money, the guy actually referred me to another tech that he felt would be better suited to assist me. What a pro! I know exactly where all be going with 100% of my more standard problems.

Great service and they did not try to rip me off. Go here if you are poor and have no idea about computers. They won't take advantage of you.
