I had to organize a birthday party for a friend. We had a private room upstairs and it had a big round table, which is perfect for a party of 8 or more. It turned out great overall. Food is excellent and we were pleased with the service too. I'm planning another party and probably will end up at The Union Cattle.

My friends and I go here on Sundays and sit upstairs out on the patio. They have mini kegs and provides just the right amount of drinks for 4 people. They have really good appiteizers and we can sit and enjoy our food with a great view of the ocean. They provide free parking with validation. So sometimes we'll park there and have a drink before heading down to the pier.

Union Cattle Co. is a great place for 25-35 year olds who love great food, great music, and great conversation. This is my number one pick in the South Bay!

This place gets crowded with youngsters after 9:00pm, but its a fun place for partying and drinks. Food is tasty.

I came here for a birthday party for one of my friends and we had a blast. I had a steak for dinner and it was super good. We stayed for drinks and night got even better. The place was packed with good looking girls.

Great singles scene, but the food is also great--I've been there several times and have never been disappointed, and everyone I've gone there with has always been very happy, too. Good steaks, ribs, side dishes, etc. For birthdays, they have 2 large, private rooms upstairs you can reserve where you can listen to the same music as everyone else without all of the background bar noise. I recommend coming early for dinner and staying for drinks and the mechanical bull. On weekends it can get crowded, which is good if you're single, bad if you just want to eat.

This place has a great happy hour. Half off drinks and appetizers. The outdoor seating by the fireplace is great for gathering with friends in the evening! Happy hour is Mon - Thurs from 5-7 (I think). I've never been for dinner, but have heard the steaks are good...

We live right down the stree from the Union Cattle Co, and it's hard not to go every night, as it makes the whole block smell like grilled steak. Very nice view on the roof top deck...firepits, ocean view. It wasn't crowded, but this was on a Tuesday night. The waiter was very friendly, and the food came out quickly. Very good filet, decent price. The sides are very big, and very good. They brew their own beer, it's not bad. Only $3 per pint, so not a bad price either. Didn't get a chance to ride the mechanical bull...maybe next time. Watch the cover on the weekends $10 just to get in before you have dinner is pretty crucial.
