Dr. Tambra is the best. I have seen chiropracters over the years and know what to look for. She really knows what she is doing and uses multiple techniques. She focuses on getting you better QUICK and doesn't try to make extra money off of you by selling nutritional supplements and massage services. She's only about chiropractic. She also has an amazing talent with people, which you'll notice in her bedside manner -- she immediately puts you at ease.

Pros: parking available in front or back, bedside manner, quick results

I have been in massive pain due to a motorcycle accident ten years ago I go to axis chiropractor two to three times a week and Dr Tambra snaps and pops my back into place if it not for her I would be hunched over in pain most of rhe time she is an agel she has a special touch she has done more for me than any doctor has ever done for for anyone if I were a millionair I would have her on twenty four hour standbye. Dr. Tambra is a great chiropractor! She takes time to get to know each patient and really listens to their concerns. Dr. Tambra develops a treatment plan for each patient's individual needs. Her office environment is casual and friendly. She always has enough time to answer questions and seems happy to work through any challenge. My personal experience: Although I'd had success with chiropractic adjustments in the past, I saw a chiropractor more recently whose heavy-handed technique left me in acute pain and serious discomfort. My body began to feel very unbalanced. I spent the following 8 months visiting general practitioners, physical therapists, acupuncturists, a neurologist and several other chiropractors. No one was able to totally relieve my discomfort. Having exhausted all other options, I looked on Citysearch for a new chiropractor. I carefully read the reviews and saw that several patients had described Dr. Tambra as a good listener. I knew I needed a doctor who would take time to understand my unique health care needs. So, I decided to give Dr. Tambra a try. That was the best decision I have ever made! After the first week of adjustments with Dr. Tambra, I saw more improvement in my health than in the past three months of adjustments with another chiropractor. I couldn't believe it! I was so happy and relieved to have found a chiropractor who could help me. Dr. Tambra is intelligent, skilled and a creative thinker. If one adjustment technique doesn't seem to work, she will try another one that might. She takes time to talk with me at the start of each visit, asks questions to better understand my adjustment needs and takes detailed notes. As I am a very sensitive person, Dr. Tambra makes gentler adjustments on me. How wonderful and rare to find a doctor who provides such specialized care. Today, I am thrilled to be totally pain-free and I look forward to continued visits to Axis Chiropractic. Thank you, Dr. Tambra!

Axis Chiropractic was recommended to me by someone who has been with them since December. He said they were very nice and friendly and he has seen quite an improvement in his back. When I went in for the first time, I was treated like an old friend. They were very professional and courteous and I felt comfortable and at ease. I am used to very little to no customer service these days. It was wonderful to be treated like my business is important and I am valued as a client. Plus, as part of your visit, you get a hug from the Chiropractor! Very warm and inviting atmosphere.

Pros: calm, positive environment

Dr. Tambra is a wealth of knowledge and expertise in her field. I don't know what I would have done without her helping me. I have scoliosis and chronic back pain. Each and every time I have seen Dr. Tambra, she has taken the time to understand everything that is bothering me before she decides on treatment. This type of patient care is a dying art. I had no idea that when Dr. Tambra started adjusting me for back trouble, that my headaches would magically go away. I now live in Northern California and plan special trips to the LA area to be seen by her. It is WELL worth the trip.

Dr. Tambra's got the touch. She makes my back feel great! The office ambiance is very soothing. Dr.Tambra is a very honest person, she won't give you the run around or avoid your questions. I don't feel stupid asking her questions and she's always willing to answer them if she knows or research them for me. It's rare to find people so caring in this world!

Dr. Lisa literally saved my life; a lifetime of migraines, odd and unexplained lethergy, then scary dizzy spells. Conventional doctors would only prescribe useless pills and tell me it was stress. One x-ray explained it all! A congenital cervical fusion was the cause of all my troubles, which were getting worse year by year, and destined to get far more serious and debilitating as time passed. After getting treatment from Dr. Lisa for the past three years, I am symptom and pain free! My life has completely changed, and I am no longer in danger of becoming permanently disabled. I owe Dr. Lisa more than I could ever repay her, so I constantly recommend her and pass out her business cards. She has shown me more compassion than anyone, especially doctors, and given me the gift of a new life. You cannot go wrong with Dr. Lisa! SHE'S THE BEST CHIROPRACTOR. And she's so much more then just a chiropractor; she's a wonderful woman with a heart of pure gold. (At times it felt like she was my part-time therapist, too!) She knows her stuff and offers you her very best. I love her!

My experiences at Axis Chiropractic prompted me to write this review. Dr. Lisa is a brilliant doctor. My regular doctor could not figure out why I hurt. He sent me to a specialist. He couldn't help either, and sent me to another specialist. No help. I was told that I would have to live in pain. They didn't have a clue. I found Dr. Lisa on Citysearch. Her office assistant gave me a same day appointment! Their office was clean, modern, and hip. Dr. Lisa was clever and intuitive. She figured out why I had been hurting. Her painless Chiropractic adjustments restored my faith that there was still hope for me. The best part - I don't hurt anymore!!! Now I just go in for adjustments once a month to keep my body tuned up. I don't have health insurance, but their prices are affordable. I highly recommend this place!!!

I went to Dr. Lisa earlier summer on a very painful psyatic nerve situation on my lower back. Going 3 Times a week for almost 3 months I can finally say it worked and now I just go in once or every other week for maintenance. Thank you Dr. Lisa.

Dr. Lisa is holistic and practical and caring and intelligent and honest and just all around great. I brag about going to MY chiropractor. Enjoy feeling great!
