Soul Food Kitchen by Shonda F. at InsiderPages

I usually go for the Sunday Dinner's, it is very affordable. This is a healthy side of soul food. It is not greasy or loaded with salt. This place is not meant for dinning in with a large group due to the small parking, however, this should not deter you from going here. The location is clean and the food is always fresh. They serve very large portions with the Sunday Dinner, it is literally enough to feed 4 people and will only cost you around $15 buck, oh this also includes dessert and a drink. By all means give it a try.

And if you want to talk about it, the owner Adolf will sit right down with you! He is one of the nicest men you will ever meet. Portions are hearty, delicious , with a large menu to choose from and a great dessert menu to finish off with. Dine in or take out. Service is quick and friendly. They have managed to keep prices low, probably because they have remained small. Parking is minimal, but they need to open a few more, that would help. If you havent tried it, youre missing out. Treat yourself.
- Pros: The Food, prices,service
- Cons: parking

Best Soul Food In LA

I haven't had the opportunity to try a great number of soul food restaurant in Los Angeles, but of those I have, SFK definitely has the best food. I love the baked chicken and mac & cheese. On Sundays they have a full dinner for about $15 that includes dessert and a drink, three sides, cornbread muffins, and an entree--it's a great deal. It's a pretty small joint, not the place you want to go if you're looking for ambiance, but the food is outstanding and the service is usually pretty good.
- Pros: Great food, Quick Service
- Cons: Parking, Small Building
