Great times!

by nomo_fan

I was craving for okonomiyaki, and ever since I moved back to LA from SF, I was looking for a place that serves it. I found it here, and it was great. The restaurant was filled on a Tuesday night, half with Japanese nationals and half with a diverse crowd of foodies. Great okonomiyaki, yakisoba, and fried rice! Try to pork kimchee yakisoba.

Definitely will go back!

Fun Fun Fun

by wennie904

This is a fun experience since Gaja specializes DIY okonomiyaki. Food itself is just so so, after all, it is just okonomiyaki. We ordered couple sides, good variety, but nothing special. It's a small place with few hot pan for cooking, so it could get crowded w/ a wait line. Will go again just because it is so fun to cook and drink some beer.

Hidden Treasure of Okonomiyaki...

by vincitomniaveritas

Indulging in Okonomiyaki is more than just a dining experience. I have not yet been to a place outside of Japan that does it just right until I walked into Gaja. This is THE PLACE for Okonomiyaki lovers out there who are in search of an authentic experiencethis is after being stuck in traffic on Harbor Freeway for an hour just to get there from downtown LA! I recommend going there not expecting to be seated right away since there seem to be a waiting list every day of the week. I ordered Spicy Seafood Okonomiyaki with some warm house sake which complimented the food just right. One order of Spicy Seafood didnt quite hit the spot for two of us so we ordered a Mushroom Udon Stir Fry which wasnt as good as the actual Okonomiyakiguess the Law of Diminishing Returns apply here.
