Perfection she is....

I don't generally give places glowing reviews, and am cautious before recommending a place. I had my first haircut from Vanessa back in July, and it was quite honestly the best haircut I've ever had. I was tempted to post a review back then, but I decided to wait until I'd had my second haircut from her, to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Well, I went back to her yesterday, and I'm convinced - she's definitely the best hairdresser I've ever been to. That's not an easy title to win, either - I've been to some very highly regarded salons. When I lived in San Diego I frequented both Salon David Perez (and David was my hairstylist) and Salon Tonic; when I lived in Berkeley I went to Peter Thomas Hair Design and G-Squared (in San Francisco). I have very fine, wavy hair - not the cute perfectly wavy hair you see on actresses - the unruly better blow-dry it straight or it'll look crazy wavy hair. Or so I thought. When I first met with Vanessa I told her I'd love to wear my hair down and wavy (or even a little curly), but that I hate spending time on my hair. The 5 minutes I spend blow-drying my hair straight is more prep time than I'd like, and when I don't feel like doing that my hair winds up in a ponytail. I didn't just want to be able to wear it wavy/curly, though, I also told her I'd like to be able to blow-dry it straight sometimes too, and still have it look great. So, to recap, I want my hair to look perfect wavy or straight, and to spend no more than 5 minutes on it. Amazingly enough, that's exactly what I got. My new hair routine is: shower, put on curl creme, scrunch my hair up with my hands, let it air dry, get PERFECT actress-like waves/curls. It takes me all of about 1 minute prep time, and my hair has never looked this good. It's incredible how many complements I get on my hair now, and how often I hear "I want your hair!" - especially after they hear how easy it is to style.

I WAS IMPRESSED !

I used a temporary hair color and it had been almost 6 months. It was starting to fade out, but looked "faded" and I had several spots that I my self could not reach.LOL...so i went to Vanessa and she went right to work. I truly love the color and cut and she even did my eyebrows.She gave me the most beautiful dimensional highlights to go with my red and it all blends together.I look and feel so natural.I was a faded orange color when i walked in and a beautiful red head when I came out. I was also highly impressed with the cut. My hair is naturally curly, but i can do just about anything with it...straight, rollers, flip, however all my previous hair cuts are only for one style. But the style Vanessa gave me is so versatile i can go from curly to straight and still look great! I have nothing but wonderful things to say.She is the sweetest girl, not fake.. Just exceptional service and a great hair color and cut at a REALLY nice price! I will be going back to Vanessa. "TRUST ME" she is a true talent..U will love her salon.

Color is the Word.

I have been to "Hair By Robb" multiple times for coloring and cuts and have been completely satisfied every time. Robb takes the time to listen to my ideas then translates them beautifully into a look that embodies everything I asked for and more!! I constantly get complements how how great my hair color looks. I would recommend "Hair By Robb" to anyone looking for a quality hairstyle. Robb is the best stylist I have experienced in the many salons I have visited.

Curls Curls Curls.

Robb is absolutely the best stylist I have ever had touch my head. He listened to what I wanted, He took care to look at my hair's natural texture and tendencies, and he cut it perfectly. I have never been so happy with my hair. I never want to go anywhere else. Ever. I recommend him especially if you have curly or wavy hair; he really knows what he is doing when it comes to natural curls.

Give Stephanie WIlson a HAND! (no pun Intended, well maybe)

WOW! A real manicurist! I am so happy that I found Stephanie. I have had my cuticles ripped too many times by dull cuticle nippers. I never have to worry about that again now that I found a real professional manicurist ,who does nails a natural and healthy way. And, treat yourself to reflexology with Peter in this relaxing studio. What a great addition to the fabulous services at this cutting edge (ok ,pun intended) Salon.

I just got my first set of H.B.R. hair extensions today and they are absolutely fabulous! Robb does such amazing work on my hair. I can honestly say that I have finally found a stylist who is the "total package". He is friendly, courteous, always has a smile on his face, and of course a very talented hair colorist and extensionist. I drive over 2 hours to see him every six weeks and he is more than worth it. I know that if you go and see Robb, you will never see another hair stylist again! He will provide you with a wonderful experience as well as the best hair you could ever imagine! Thank you, Robb for my amazing look!!!

Your going to love this Man...... Wow I love the way my hair looks

I have searched high and low for a stylist who really listens to me, whose judgement I can trust, and who can deliver the results I want. I have found him! I am very particular, and Robb always takes the time to listen to me. Communication with a stylist is so important. I have had so many bad experiences with stylists who don't listen.Robb always takes the time to make sure he understands what his clients want so that they leave the salon happy. I have never been disappointed. What I appreciate most about Robb is his attention to detail. He is as particular as I am about every little thing. I highly recommend him for corrective color as well. I brought in a friend who was traumatized by a bad experience at an upscale salon in West Hollywood. The stylist had not listened to her at all and when he tried to fix it had made it even worse. It was a stripey multi-colored mess. I insisted that she go to Robb's, and Robb fixed it. My friend's hair looks fabulous and she gets tons of compliments on it now. So, bottom line, if you are looking for a colorist who really knows his stuff, will listen to you, and will make sure you leave the salon happy. Robb is it.

Larry Brooks has a small studio inside Chess & Burman. Larry knows hair and knows how to make you feel at home while he makes you look great. Larry will play movies or music and offer you wine or soda while he takes his time making you look fabulous.

Vanessa is the cut and color expert!

Vanessa Domazos takes the time to find out exactly how you want your hair to look. She's a total professional, a meticulous stylist, and has the cleanest salon space in L.A.! I am sensitive to all fragranced products (MCS) and she's been wonderful about using unscented products on my hair. Thank you Vanessa!

WOW !! VANESSA ROCKS!! ROOM 33

After reading the reviews on this website I scheduled an appt. with Vanessa which was an excellent decision. Vanessa is amazing! Not only does she cut and color my hair (and my mother's when she comes to visit from paris), she did make-up and hair for my entire wedding party and everyone felt gorgeous. Plus, after spending an afternoon in a hotel suite hanging out with her while she worked on us, everyone loved her and wanted her to stay for the wedding. She will spend hours with you getting everything just right. I feel like I can communicate with her; when I say long, loose layers, that's what I get rather than some Jennifer Anniston circa 1994 cut. She's very up on what is in style and what looks good and individualizes your color and cut rather than following any sort of formulaic model which I've had many other hairdressers do over the years. I can't recommend her enough
