The Ultimate Haircut - Crafted to make you look fantastic!

9022 Salon is nestled behind a Japanese style wooden fence with a Koi pond full of fish and an energy that is not typically found in Los Angeles, especially on Sunset Boulevard just East of Doheny Drive. There you see Arch, who has the chair by the window and is always busy with client after client because he is extremely talented and comes with no B.S., this guy will give you an amazing cut time after time and he will be honest with you as to what will flatter your face and grow out well, the rest of the crew is talented as well, but I have to let you know about Arch, this guy comes from three generations of cutting hair and he brings you the very best there is in Los Angeles at price points that are not over the top, it is a win win for you, your going to look great, feel great and wonder why you never had a haircut like this before, now is the time to start, if you can manage to get an appointment, good thing is, Arch works long hours and loves what he does and is as accommodating as he can be.

Arch at 9022 Salon on Sunset Boulevard is something you need to know about. Everyone tells me how good I look, the way my hair is cut so nice, how I look so good, hey, I'll keep taking the compliments and keep getting the great haircuts from this guy and I hope you find the time to do so as well.

Awesome Cut, Color and everything by Arch!

While looking for the salon's phone number on the internet, as I had lost it, I came across the City Search reviews of my favorite hair salon. As I would expect the reviews were great, however, one woman commented on the salon consisting mostly of men stylists and loud music. I'm not sure what she expected from a salon in West Hollywood on Sunset Blvd, across from the Key Club. I have been coming to the salon for years. I, the mother of two children, drive all the way from Santa Monica to "Nine Zero Two Two" in West Hollywood. Although it's true I only listen to that type of music in the car, with my kids, and at "Nine Zero Two Two," it's worth it for the outcome. As for $90 being too expensive for a haircut I'm shocked. I'm not quite sure where one gets a decent haircut for less. Yes, one guy sags his pants and most of them have tattoos, but who doesn't these days. Like I said Arch is my fave, I followed him from another salon. However, if he was out of town Murph, Vanessa and Roxy have all done my hair. Take it from the mom in Santa Monica, they rock. I can just hear my 8 and 11 year old right now, "Mom your so embarassing, don't say you rock!"

I LOVE 9022!!

I love 9022! I've seen several of the stylists at 9022 through-out the processing of my hair from brunette/auburn to full- on blonde without a doubt as to how my hair will turn out- it is always awesome. This goes far towards the value of their expertise- which I rate excellent if not the best consultation and attention I've recieved to date. I am a color junkie and have tried every color and every style. Vanessa is excellent at her craft. I highly recommend her! At 9022 they really pay attention to what you want and willingly accomodate your requests with the enhancement of professional care. You will be a happy client.

My experience was White Hot and Wonderful

In my experiences, I really lost faith in a lot of hairdressers. However, I was recommended to a stylist named Ralph at Nine Zero Two Two. Being very shy of hairdressers, I had my reservations; but I was quickly put at east by the friendly staff and, especially, by Ralph himself. Finally, I found somebody who did my hair right. The color is outstanding and he did not, I repeat, did not over cut my hair! I will be a repeat customer! Thank you so much Ralph and Nine Zero Two Two!!

Phenomonal

My experience at 9022 salon was the best I've ever had. The variety of specialized stylists and their individual opinions of my hair was incredible. Each one had a way to color, cut and style my hair and I completly trusted that they knew what I needed. Everyone there made me feel welcome and beautiful. When I left I was smiling and recieved more compliments on my hair than ever before.

Amazingly Exact

This salon is great! The staff was friendly and funny, I felt very comfortable and welcome. The prices are perfect for a salon in Hollywood, and the quality was fantastic. The colorist did and amazing job with the dramatic change I requested. She knew exactly what I wanted! I love the outcome so much, I will not be going to anyone else for a long time. Not a single complaint!

The Four One One on Nine Zero Two Two

Went to this cozy salon and found that it wasn't quite what I expected it to be. Their ad mentioned a "relaxing" patio front w/a rock pond. Sounds delightful, I thought. Different story when I arrived. You've got staff members (majority of them men) showing 27 inches of underwear blasting Salt N' Pepper. Not exactly my idea of relaxing. The stylist that cut my hair I was told, was supposedly the "best." Well, I'd say his hair cutting skills are mediocre at best. $90 for a hair cut is a bit much for the quality of cut I received. Now my hair is choppier than I like and it takes longer to style in the morning. The staff is friendly enough, if you don't mind getting the full body check on your way in the door. I felt like I was at a night club instead of a salon!

9022 Salon is Fantastic!!! I went in last week expecting to get the same look I've always gotten when other people have done my hair. I've explained to several hairstylists in the past how to cut and color my hair, and they could never get it just right...until the specialists at 9022 Salon did my hair. They made it look exactly how I've always wanted it! They are so wonderful. Thank you 9022 Sunset Salon!!! I love my new "do"!!!
