Words canNOT expresss the way i feel about this place!!! Absolutely AMAZING! First and far most BESTTTT and i mean BEST HOOKAH in CALIFORNIA!!!! Food= GET IN my BELLLLY...Must try their ginormous Wraps( melrose wrap and VENNi wrap)... STAFF/Service= GREAT!!!!! Location/Environment= Prime LA location (can u ask for anything better?) ... Price= Friendly to your CheckBOOk!!! =) I love this Place!!!

Stay away! Horrible service and hookah and too pricy!

Okay I used to go to this hookah cafe quite often when it first opened by a guy name Vinnie. Notice the positive postings are old. Back then the food was great and the hookah was good. Now the food is decent (seems like a half az job compared to before) and the hookahs haven't been changed or cleaned for that matter since the last owner. The hoses are filthy, the flavor is only good for the first 2 minutes after that you are smoking charcoal. To top it all off, you dish out quite a bit of money for the garbage you get.

Although you have to call hours ahead for reservations its a great place to hang out..its a nice place...with gooood food if you go there you have to have the chicken sandwich best thing ever...good hookahs...so yeah i definatly reccommend the place Im actually going there tonight :)

Ramma Geni is the perfect place to chill out with your friends. Enjoy a pot of tea and a flavorful hookah and you're all set for hours of relaxation. Recommended tea: Veni's blend (with ginger and spiced mint. Add a touch of honey and WOW). As for hookah, we like 007 and LA Trash. They mix their own blends of flavors, so experiment. See if you get Luca as your hookah attendant. He's great. (Remember to tip the hookah guys seperately from the wait-staff.) Crowded on lots of nights, so call in a reservation ahead of time. I think there is a $5 min, so be prepared for that. Parking sucks.

A hidden tresure

I would consider this a hidden tresure, it would be compared to the cafe from friends with a middle eastern twist. many comfortable seating, especially ask to sit in the V.I.P. section if you want a little more peace and quite.
- Pros: inexpensive, meet new people, great teas and coffee
- Cons: hard to find parking
