Romantic Chinese

This is my favorite restaurant. Ive been going here for a really long time. The service is fast, friendly and consistent. After a romantic dinner its nice to take a drive down pch for a ocean drive. A perfect date. Go check it out.

What a well kept secret!

This is a delightful restaurant! The American owner lived in China and had to flee the country during times of trouble. He is a wonderful man filled with stories of life in China during the earlier part of the last century! Try the house special shrimp a delicious fried dish servd with a sweet and pungent sauce. Also try the the shrimp with pecans a delightful stir fry shrimp made with mayonnaise and lightly sweetened pecans (sounds strange, perhaps, but it's a wonderful surprise). This is a great place to take a special date. After dining, go for a drive along ocean!

I recently revisited the Golden Lotus. The food was just as great as I remember it. I also learned they no longer use MSG in their food...a big plus for me! But what really pleasantly suprised me was their live music. Soothing and serene it was the perfect touch to a lovely dinner. I'm sure I'll be visiting there more often now.
