Amazing!!!!

This place is truly remarkable. I love that they are a casual yet elegant little familly owned place. The service is quite fast for the specialty they serve. I mean its not like they can hire just anyone to make these crepes ... Its expertise. Its not like they can just hire anyone. You get a really "home" feeling there. I really enjoy their food and recommend it to whoever is willing to tey something new and try something exceptional!!

Best Breakfast in Santa Monica

I randomly found this place a few months ago with my boyfriend. We are big on breakfast, and decided to stop in for breakfast for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised. The food is very good, and the service is great. Its a small place, with very reasonable prices. Highly recommended for breakfast lovers!

Very disorganized at Farmer's Market

I've never been to the main location, but I see the booth at the Santa Monica Farmer's Market all the time. The line was shorter than usual, so I jumped on it. It was very quick and easy to order, but then took nearly 30 minutes to get my crepe. Really? A paper-thin pancake?

Since I had plenty of waiting time, I used it to observe the booth's operation policy. It appears that one person takes the orders and money, 4 or 5 people make the crepes and 1 person calls out the numbers of the orders to pick up. Sounds good in theory, however in practice, NOT SO MUCH. At any given time, there were between 6 and 10 finished crepes just sitting there waiting to be called and given out. Result: tons of people waiting around, after we've paid, watching our crepes sit on a warmer. Mine was SO DRY by the time I got it :-( I can't even imagine what it would be like when the line is long, like usual...

Founded by chef Thierry Boisson in 1989, the tiny cafe features a spacious courtyard (shared with a few other businesses) and a menu of crepes that span breakfast, lunch and dessert. Although the thin, versatile treat is no doubt the main attraction, there are also a number of other flavorful options including omelets, waffles, salads, soups and sandwiches.

Best crepes in the area

This cafe is informal: you order at the counter, and then they'll bring the food out. They use disposable plates (albeit the sturdy kind) and plastic forks, but the quality of food is better than at the crepe place on 3rd and Broadway. I really liked the crepe with spinach, egg and goat cheese--everything was fresh and tasty. The presentation of food is pretty--they put a little salad of field greens on top of the savory crepe. For comparison, that other "French" place uses frozen, not fresh spinach, and the presentation is pretty much absent, which makes a whole lot of difference.

crepe with nutella chocolatte was good not much ambiance or service but overall was a good experiance the crepe are realy good to bad they do not serve cider or wine .
