JUST PLAIN ROBBERY!

These guys wanted to charge me not double, but 75% more than the second and third estimates I got! When questioned the number seemed to be made up, and the repairman seemed to indicated that the company charged a hundred dollars an hour for labor. It was all a little confusing, and shady. I think they just drive around all day and get their $35 dollar fee for giving crazy high estimates. Needless to say I went with another guy (Tobin Glass in Burbank - if you're interested).

• Pros: They come to your house in about five minutes.
• Cons: They can come so fast because they triple charge you.

I highly recommend this company. I had a large (7' x 12') piece of broken glass in my door, and they handled the special order quickly and professionally. They communicated clearly, arrived when expected, protected my wooden floors, and cleaned up the considerable mess. The guys also explained the work they had done, which went beyond just replacing the glass, (including getting the door sliding more smoothly, and oiling the track), and gave me suggestions on how to avoid future problems. The Glass Doctor offers the highest level of courteous, prompt, intelligent service.
