Best Place to Watch Sports!

There are a ton of tv's in this place! There is not a bad seat in the house--this place is huge, with the main restaurant on one side, a GREAT outdoor seating area in the middle (yeah smokers that's what I'm talking about!), and yet another bar area on the other side. You are sure to find other fans of your team, even if you come solo like I did. Lots of cool people! Even the bartenders and servers are all cool--I can't even get mad when my boyfriend stares at all of the hotties that work there--and that's saying a lot!

• Pros: the employees get into it to, which makes it even better
• Cons: sometimes the food takes longer when it's a packed house

Love this place!!!!!

I went last weekend and had so much fun! They have a huge outdoor patio where you can watch all the games on big flatscreens. The food was really good, had great specials. The staff was really friendly too. Oh, and you can smoke on the patio and play beer pong!

Great place for the games!

This is a great place to watch any sporting event. I was there to watch some football with my buddies, and was really shaocked at how many TV;s there were.

The bartenders were cool and the cocktail waitresses were pretty cute too...

They do all the UFC stuff too...and there's plenty of street parking and even vallet.

• Pros: Great drinks- bartenders are really cool.
• Cons: There's sometimes too many people there.

Guapo is a great place to spend a fall Saturday watching football. Staff is really nice, food is good, gets a cool Melrose crowd.

New fav place

Anywhere that actually has pitchers of beer and beer pong tables-count me in!! This is a great place to spend a Saturday/ Sunday afternoon with friends. My friends and I all went last Saturday to hang out, and we had a blast! We ended up playing beer pong all afternoon:). I hear that the happy hour and nights are awesome too, so we already have plans to go back.

Our server was great too-super friendly and quick with the replacement pitchers! I think his name was Chris. Anyway, see u there!

Great Sports Bar!

We spent another great night at El Guapo -- there are so many TV's and they're everywhere! We loved the enchiladas and sliders and they really make delicious drinks. It was a perfect night to sit on the patio and our server took very good care of us. Can't wait to go back this weekend!

the vibe at el guapo is really cool, they have a patio but my favorite is the deck overlooking melrose. I went there with a group of friends and we hung out there for a while watching football, they have tons of tvs. The waitress was super sweet and they are all really pretty!!! P.S. Ladies i saw a lot of cute guys there!!! A great place to go with friends!!! Plus they have good deals on food/drinks different days of the week!

Great place to watch football

I was visiting from New York City when a friend took me to El Guapo. I loved watching all the football games outside on their MANY TV's. They had every game playing somewhere and the staff was very accomodating when helping me find a table where my team was playing. The food was good and inexpensive I would definitely recommend the nachos.

The MANAGER knows NOTHING about CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We had good and friendly service from the wait staff during the fight . . . HOWEVER . . . .

After UFC 94, they staged a mock fight for a reality show(if that actually makes sense). We were told to move away from where we were standing or we could get hurt. No more the two seconds later, the sissy fight started and ketchup was spilled completely over two of my friends. We are talking covered in it. I'm assuming there was no permit for the 5 video cameras that were being used. We ask to talk to the manager. He could care less about our concerns. "What do you expect me to do about it? Stop wasting my time and get the f- out of my face?" He proceeded to shove/nearly assaulting my inquiring friend and continued to use a lot of profanity for no reason. The owners should know that this guy (with the panty liner for a hat) is a huge liability for the establishment. So much as if they do not hand over a resignation letter to him, this place could stripped of it's alcohol license in due time.

I see a legal matter in the near future if this manager continues to be employed here. I know this is not the first time he's been written up about either. I have heard numerous complaints from other people including his wait staff. I have watched the last 6 fights in a row here but can't return to your establishment. It is unsafe and a hazard if people do plan on coming in.

• Pros: good place to watch a sports event
• Cons: horrible customer service when speaking with management. Extremely rude!
