This place was ok for a few games but i will not come back. One problem is that the employees there dont have manners.
- Pros: Big
- Cons: Bad Service
Bowl Elsewhere!

THE WORST BOWLING EXPERIENCE EVER! Eight of us went to Pinz to celebrate my friends birthday and from the very beginning were treated like garbage. We asked for two lanes since we had eight people, the girl at the counter said we needed nine if we wanted two lanes...The place was not very busy and we could see that this person had a horrible attitude so we went with the one lane. She put us in the middle of two other big parties and most of us had nowhere to sit or even stand. After the first game we had a friend join us and he paid for eight people before realizing that four people were sitting the next one out. When we asked for a refund the same girl told us that it was not her problem and they don't give refunds. In a very condescending tone said "how about a birthday announcement instead", the nerve of this girl! So we asked for a manager to see if maybe we could get a refund or at least play two games since we just paid for it, the manager sided with his employee but reluctantly let us played two games. Ten minutes later he came over to us (we thought to say sorry) and began to tell us off about "the way we talked to his employee". I've never seen such poor customer service or even people skills for that matter. All the while it's the most expensive place i've ever bowled at. None of us will ever go back and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!
- Pros: Facility
- Cons: Customer Service/Management

I would really like to know when this happened. The date and time. If you would be willing to share that with us. If there is a problem, we need to fix it.
Drinks and bowling...FUN!!
by geminigirli at Citysearch
I suggested Pinz to a girlfriend for her birthday party and everyone had such a good time! They have a full bar...need I say more? LOL, the drinks actually improved my bowling game. Staff was nice, not overly friendly, but not pretentious as you might expect. Overall, fun times!!

- Pros: Fun fun fun!
- Cons: Kinda far to travel for bowling if you don't live local
Revamped Studio City bowling lanes lure celebs, families and teens.

The Scene
Recent touch-ups to this 32-lane alley, like the 200-foot L.A.-landmark mural, four flashy video screens and cartoonish-purple carpeting, update its classic '50s charm. Two game rooms feature pool, air hockey, pinball, as well as new and vintage arcade games. Blue-haired bowlers and children's birthday parties during the day give way to college-age couples, loitering teenagers and occasional celebrity drop-ins at night. Back in the day, regulars like Justin Timberlake and gal pal Cameron Diaz would even rent personalized, glittery-purple lockers that sat side-by-side next to the entrance.
The Draw
The rollicking "Rock 'n' Bowl" events offer laser-light shows, glowing pins and thundering Top-40 jukebox tunes. These popular parties usually incur a wait of at least an hour. Many wait-listers grab a bite from neighboring Jerry's Deli restaurant, while the lucky ones order directly to their lane.

The plus side is that there's a lot going on, up-to-date, and there's great food...the downside is that the customer service is horrible. I called in advance to check the price and was misqutoed, the price was over $5.00 more than they had told me per game per person. We were shuffled around to different employees when we were purchasing our games and needless to say we will never go there again.
- Pros: Good Food
- Cons: Expensive, Bad Customer Service
Nothing Special
by seanahansen at Citysearch
I guess I went here on one of thier Rock and Bowl nights or something because there was an hour wait for a lane. Its definately not worth it because this place is exactly like any other bowling alley. There isn't even a bar.
- Cons: Crowded, NO BAR
A fun time...

Met some friends there last weekend. After waiting an hour (which wasn't so bad-we went into the adjoining Jerry's Deli Bar for some STRONG drinks) we hit the lanes. Pretty expensive but by the end of the night it was well worth it. Great tunes, strong drinks, cute waitresses, and fun bowling.
- Pros: Big parking lot, Lane waitresses, strong drinks
